Nicholas Crane, TV presenter and regular visitor to the Norfolk Broads gives a 5 minute introduction to this beautiful wetland, filled with exciting and rare wildlife, unforgettable country scenes, and attractive little villages. If you know the Norfolk Broads you will be filled with nostalgia, if you have never visited it will make you want to pack your bags right now! For more information ple...
Is it possible to use some of the clips from this video, as im currently designing a video about norfolk. Many Thanks. Springwood High school student.
Nicholas Crane has an alter ego! Put him in a red and white stripy jumper and woolly hat and a massive transformation occurs - Nick crane is 'Where's Wally' man.
Im going down again really really soon, i go down loads on my grandparents' boat and i think its really relaxing!
If you'd've been able to moor up in Norwich, you'd've been near most of the bars, clubs & restaurants. Yarmouth's the only other place with any other sort of evening life. The rest of the Broads is best-suited to the Bill Oddie and/or Ray Mears types!
You're probably right ! I'll have to go sometime.
Oh, us Norfolk folk aren't used to people from outside Norfolk visiting; even if you're from Cambridge you'd be called a foreigner!
well at least in newcastle you are welcome warmly :)
... Burgh Castle @ 3:17. I must be about 3 miles away right now ! OTBC !!
well there in the prem league 8 years later
That's Hathor at 1:47, I think.
Probably best off sticking to nights out in Newcastle then ! ;-)
@MrJJ2K no im not, some of the people there just like to have a good stare.
p.s- i forgot to say, all of the people there stared at me and my family like we had two heads or something, they were all weirdos, i dunno if they just acted like that to us because we're geordies or something.
i just got back from there for a week and it was the most boring thing ever, no where to get moored up in towns, and anywhere else 80% of the mooring spots you have to pay for and the other percentage are ALWAYS taken. We ended up not being able to visit the majority of towns, but don't let my opiion ruin your experience, its just i like to be able to visit places, not be stuck on a boat bored to hell.
Best out of season. The southern Broads are also much quieter, with some beautiful towns and villages.
I'm sorry if you've had a bad experience but I'm half Polish and have lived here most of my life. Norfolk people are amazingly welcome.
loool i live near here , norfolk is really beautiful place, but i can get boring , but then there is the city of norwich which is close by if you want to go shopping etc and clubbing
I got stuck in the top of Horsey Mill once. I don't like heights and I went up the steep steps to the top floor and it wasn't till I went to go down them I realised how steep they were and that I could see the next floor 10 feet down and I froze there for 15 mins till I got enough courage to slowly go down the steps.
soo lovely i will go (:
If National Express have enough spare money to waste on this then they are charging too much for their rail fares.
