Amtrak in the wild??
While enroute to the Nittany Tractor show at Penn's Cave with Dan, we happend to catch an Amtrak passing as we were about to drive under the tracks through a Stone arch under pass that I was going to film alone. So the Amtrak was a nice bonus. Enjoy.

Abandoned Sideling Hill Tunnel on Hiboy S2 Pro Scooter
มุมมอง 288ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I team up with Dan to take a ride along part of the Abandoned Turnpike and through the Sideling Hill Tunnel on our Hiboy S2 Pro Scooters. We picked a good day to do the ride. It did get a little chilly going through the tunnel, but was well worth it. We did this ride in June of 2023. I did use my chest mount so the view probably isn't the best. Later in the video I stand up on th...

มุมมอง 938ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I team up once again with @emeraldsoundproductions to check out the Antique Engine, Tractor and Toy Clubs 37th annual show in the Delong park in Bowers, Pa. I also decided to bring along and display my Allis Chalmers 917 Hydro to which you get to see Randy use in the Garden Tractor Pulls. This was a 2 day event and I was present both days and there was a lot to see and do. Not onl...
Kinzua Viaduct, Bridge, State Park, Skywalk
มุมมอง 595ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I team up with Dan and we go and explore the Kinzua Viaduct that has become a state park. In 2003 this structure once dubbed the eighth wonder of the world was partially damaged and collapsed from an F1 tornado. The Kinzua Bridge or the Kinzua Viaduct was a Railroad trestle that spanned Kinzua Creek in McKean County Pennsylvania. It stood 301 feet tall and 2,052 feet long. Most of...

You must be busy at work? No new videos.
wearing a Conrail tee shirt almost want to make me puke. Conrail destroyed so much heritage and ripped up so much track to save money they single handedly made me a former railfan.
The Erie Railroad on the Northern Branch in Bergen County Nj use to operational long ago by Erie railroad for Passenger service and Freight service Local freight service to the Piermont branch by 9w in Rockland County NY along the Hudson River Line by the 1990s Conrail ran Local freight service back in fourth from North Bergen junction by the Spurs further up North to New York state by Piermont NY unfortunately tracks have been taken out but before the tracks were still in place in towns including Norwood Nj by Railroad Avenue to North Vale Nj and Old Tappan Nj and Tappan NY on the 9w in Rockland County NY to Piermont NY Sad news is by Norwood Nj Railroad Ave tracks are taken out plus the crossing are in bad shape bended over futher South is where CSX switching operations by Englewood NJ next to Leonia Nj and Overpeack futher up there's Grass and trees blocking the tracks plus in Englewood Nj crossings pulled out Downtown still have Gates Overpeck Park along the parks have crossing gate by Leonia Nj by Leonia High school most of the Branch just crossings no gates places like Tenafly NJ Creskill Demerest Closter NJ Norwood North Vale Nj Old Tappan Nj and Tappan NY and Piermont NY sad news in Closter NJ next crossing they pulled out a crossing ones with gate South towards Englewood have Gates like Leonia Nj
It's abandoned Northern Branch CSX still in use just not Northwards to New York state towards Piermont NY by there's a lot great History by Erie railroad and How Conrail and CSX ran Local Freight in the 1990s and 2000s and then the stopped coming New York state
I love Harriet fair!
Crooks Station
How tf did you get the transmission linkage disconnected from the steering column
Great video There used to be the chain and cable building up the hill under the buttonwood street bridge not far from where your at in your video… It’s gone now but would be great to see some history on it …. I worked for a company that occupied the bottom of the building…it was quite a building to explore…when working with the R&N one of our engineers, said he used to service that building when he worked for the Reading ..
The tractor project looks to coming along nicely. My thoufht on it is preserve the tractor as is, keeping it touched up until you are ready to restore it. I would, when the opportunity allows, to get the period correct decals for it asap so you have them when you decide to respray the tractor in the correct hue. Wire wheels on a tractor are really cool looking.
The museum is open now. I was there last month. Please go back and visit and do an overview again. Top floor is really cool.
The K4s 1361 restoration has been making great progress for a few years now.
They bilt the bridge first then the secound liine was just land fill
Imagine if all this old infrastructure could speak,,,
Is this one dummy talking to another dummy??
Wish there were a live cam at Altoona.
Is this bridge still standing in 2024 & where is it located?
I started working in the area in 92, around 95-97 was out for a day and saw a large group of people by the turntable as 833 rolled itself into the yard and was dedicated. That’s all I know.
Great stuff as always
Thanks for sharing but I could not find any video from The Retromantic to show the inside of the place. Hope to see the Mayberry-inspired police cars one day! 😎
Not sure what her plans are, I have not heard from her in a year and half. But I know The Carpetbagger did a video showing the inside. You could certainly hop on over to his channel and check it out there. 😉 Thank you for checking this one out.
I live a few minutes away from here, we had a tornado pass through town in August 2020, and it knocked down the light tower you climbed at 26:10, and it landed right on top of the main office building ruins.
Anymore videos in the works?
Lol, the title cracks me up!😂 nice catch!🫵👍✌️
My dad brought me to RSA in 1966 when I was 6yo. I was totally taken with it. Immediately upon getting home to NJ I built my own tiny table top version. Sad to see it go.
Would a 1979 column woke in a 1976 f250
Going to be serviced, or retired to a museum piece?
Nah, just went back home to Virginia. Was just it's final run at Strasburg before heading back there.
Wife and I are heading over there in a few weeks to hit their trails. Your video was an excellent intro to Bushkill. I love your pan shots along the trail, capturing some of the relatively minor perspectives. Thanks for a great video!
Thank you for the compliments. I am sure you will enjoy the experience for yourself. Be sure to take some water along with you, and be prepared for some good exercise. I definitely want to get back there again. Enjoy and thank you for watching. Be sure to stop in to the Country Kettle while in the area.
Reading is broķer than Lehigh Valley
Nice
Waiting for March 3rd!! Will be my first time coming and I'm looking for some upgrades to my old resurrected set 😊
What looks like a switch under the bridge may have been a derail. I was at the Reading Shops area for a RCT&HS event about 40 years ago. That place has really changed.
cool little tunnel thingy
You should come down to Delaware county I can show some old pennsy rr that were steam lines. There are old bridges and timber left. It ran from 30th street to Newtown square then switched off.
Thank you. I will keep that in mind.
This show is the highlight of winter for me. It's still a month away but I'm already getting hyped for it. I own the John Deere 520 behind you at 1:55 and will have it there again this year along with my Farmall Super AV.
Awesome, thank you for sharing that. I will look for you this year.
It was so nice to meet you. Adam speaks highly of you.
It was so nice to finally meet you as well. And he has nothing but kind words to you as well.
Sir, with all due respect. The city is Wilkes-Barre, not Wilkesboro. I have lived here all my life and know people who had to move because of the mine fire.
Thanks for the info
Great video. I was wondering if someone was going to do the Christmas lights this year .
