Looks to be in good shape and is very similar to the Macgregor 25' which was my first sailboat (76 model year). Sailed it to the Bahamas several times including one 3 week trip.
Hey does this boat motor well? What size engine would you recommend?
Yes it does. 6 hp is plenty.
That's one hell of a nice pop up. Possible camping videos in the future? That would be awesome. Thanks for sharing Mark. 👍
You’re welcome!
Love your videos Mark! Can I deer hunt on your property? Love, Jeremy
Jeremy! 😂
01:11 and 01:35 I own this one, my problem is it opens too easily, point up (I prefer point down so if it opens in the pocket it minimizes your chance of getting cut, and you can't alter the clip to make it ambidextrous so it's a right-hander's blade only. I nicked a finger because I carried it on the left pocket and it came open on it's own. Mine was factory razor sharp, I don't test blades on cardboard or 20lb bond print paper like I see in a ton of videos, but on thinner receipt paper to see how sharp it is... this one passed that with flying colors. I did find it strange that out-of-box it was sharper than my walmart 6" fillet knife which shocked me. I consider the walmart blades mixed quality as well (their multi-tool has a lot to desire though I buy them because the pliers and file are nice to have around). I have several of their bait cut knives I've bought over the years, the blade grinding geometry and sharpness varied and worse than this knife.
the way you said eclipse is the funniest thing i heard all day
I’m a funny guy. 😂
Would it take a meteor hitting china or a crazy war and 100 years pass for these to become collectable?
I don’t know but they’re cheap and fun to buy. 😂
USABLE a lot better than collectable. They are a tool use them.
Betcha those suckers hurt
I stayed under cover. 😂
You said you're gonna mount what on the side?
Grill
Omg are there any videos that show someone actually using it while fishing or are the videos just how to set it up.
I buy anything knives i have big problems ty for video now i got stop at Walmart your fault lol
Lol.
I just bought a Buck 112 knockoff Ozark Trail for $3.50 at my Walmart in Toledo Ohio.
Hey Mark. Great Video. I'd rather watch you unbox and review knives than a "knife connisseur". All the finger flipping and fidgeting irritates the fire outta me. I could watch your reviews all day! That blade that you refer to as a "tango" is actually a Wharncliffe or a modified sheep's foot. WalMart actually has many other models this year. They have several different spring-assist opening knives in the 7-8 dollar range and several other 7 inch fixed blades as well. I've noticed that the selection at different WalMarts differ as well. Some have many of the available models and some have almost none. Check around at other WalMarts if there are any available to you. I'd love to see you unbox and review some of the others, especially some of the new springers. Keep up the good work!
Love to check out Walmart Christmas knifes but this year my local store was really lacking only had one of those in stock was a big letdown thanks for the review of your knife finds
You’re welcome!
Wish we had these in europe
you cant buy them off ebay..?
@@user5.56 yes, but one costs 20 euros + 5 euros for shipping.
Do you not have the Internet lol
@@Knivesarelife what do you mean?
I really like that knife but cant find it in any of the wal marts around here
Just renamed the bead blasted cleaver style the "Tango". I like it. Good job, thanks.
Shite.
Can’t complain
Not too shabby for $6.00
I guess you could use it to open boxes
@@David-cc8xe Or possibly save your life.
How much those this cost
That's a great little table.
I can wear my Chef Shabear hat when I’m out in the wilderness preparing meals on it. 😂
@@marksadventures976 😂 that's a great idea. I'll be shipping it out tomorrow.
Hi there, I have the identical year and model. Would you happen to know where the speedometer pitot connection point is? Normally on outboards you’ll simply see a tube sticking out above the lower unit to connect the Speedo tube to but I don’t see one on mine.
I don’t see one on mine either. But those tubes get dry and brittle on these older motors and break off. I have my speedometer connected to a separate pitot mounted to the transom.
Wow that boat is incredible. Thanks for sharing that with us.
I had a 22 as well loved it some of the best tims in my life
I love cows <3 Is always so wholesome to see a bunch of cows just staring at you 🥰😋

When i saw the preview of the watch I thought it was a casio with Sonar or something.. I was skeptical but its casio
It’s a great budget watch. I love the little fish animation it plays when you use the stopwatch or the countdown timer. It’s reminiscent of the old Casio Cosmo Phase. Just a mention, you can switch between 12hr/24hr mode by pressing the orange start button on the bottom right when in the main timekeeping mode. Remember you will not notice the switch if it is in the AM. Also, when in the “fishing mode” screen you can switch it to moon mode and cycle through the moon phases. A feature I really like about this model is the alarm mode and the ability to set a specific day or month for the alarm to sound. Basically you can set the alarm to sound every day as normal, you can set it to sound at a specific day every month, you can set it to sound every day for a specific month only, or you can set it to sound on a specific day and month in the future. It’s a really nice option to have with the alarm which not all Casios or even G-Shocks have.
Thanks for sharing. Have fun sailing her.
😀😀😀cool
I recently bought a Casio Fishing Gear watch after watching your video.
You should pick up the Ozark Trail 7inch tan flipper.
I googled it. It doesn’t look like that one is available anymore.
From stealth 2005 DVD
No. I streamed that intro from TH-cam.
@@marksadventures976 no That intro also appeared on stealth DVD and goldeneye
5 HP is plenty. Save weight and cost. Tohatsu..
you should try that 2 hp motor out first before buying a bigger one. The Macgregor 22 is pretty light. The 2 hp motor shouldush it along just fine.
Is that on a San Juan
They are so fun!! You will love it. And beaching a sailboat has a Like-A-Boss feel to it. Lol swing keels are so handy.
Would you ever consider making a camping video? I think you would do well with it. I heard the prop noise. By the way, thanks for the helicopter ride over your place, awesome.
Yes I would consider it. Lots of beautiful places to camp in my area. And you’re welcome!
Towards the end you can hear the prop rattling.
