    This scanner isn’t made for such small objects like a Battery pack. I have the Einstar too. For such objects I use my Einscan-SP or Creality Raptor. I would recommend a Creality Otter for People only want to buy one scanner. And I would buy a scanning spray too. Aesub makes good ones. I use the orange one. Edit: Are you using the latest version of Exstar? There should be a rewind button.

    Do you need the top one to make it 2.5”?

    • @motivatedmotorsports
      @motivatedmotorsports 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I used both in order to for it to set level. I think the struts they sell you don't have to do either of them because it already has the lift built in. I just swapped to there struts and I didn't put the either bracket back in.

    I'f you are doing this in 2024. The rear blocks that go on top of the leaf springs are sloped. I was told by a rep a RC that the slope goes towards the front of the vehicle. Just a little bit more information. Great video. By the way, it helped me do the installation flawlessly

      How come the 2.5 RC I got has triangle spacer for top strut and and round one for bottom of the spring of the strut

    Would you recommend getting the upper control arms for a lift or do you think it is not needed

    • @drew5992
      @drew5992 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really needed in my opinion for 2.5 inches and lower. I do recommend on 6 inch lifts

  • @bradencarpenter6817
    @bradencarpenter6817 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    MIght be a dumb question - if you're strictly wanting to level the truck out, not necessarily "lift it up" at all, do you have to put the rear blocks in? Or can you just install the front components to level it up and skip the rear? Brand new to this - trying to read up before I buy anything. Thanks

    • @drew5992
      @drew5992 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can just buy the 2inch level kit for $30 bucks

      has anybody figured this out? i feel like i could just do the lift on the front an not have to put new block in the rear or do i have to?

      The front will be slightly higher if you do that. I just did my front, noticed that, now I’m starting on the back.

    So I got a 2.5 leveling block for the bottom of the shocks. Mzs I’m sure brand don’t matter but they look like the one in the bottom. It didn’t come with the plastic piece on top of strut. Everything is put back together and my front axle rubs on the bolts for the shock up top. Do you think it’s because I don’t have the spacer up top that’s why it rubs? If so do you know what size the top spacer is? The bottom one is a 2.5

  • @MrGoosetafer
    @MrGoosetafer 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you think, when you weigh cost vs performance, it's better to lift a truck with blocks or with springs?

    • @motivatedmotorsports
      @motivatedmotorsports 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on what you are wanting to do. If you are just wanting a small lift for looks then blocks are the way to go in my opinion. If you are actually wanting to take it off road and crawling, or doing a large lift for looks, then doing a proper lift with springs and brackets is better.
