Hi Olivia. I have been watching some of your videos. They are really good and helpful and insightful. I am planning to travel from the UK to Oaxaca this year and having been thinking of either Centro or Barrio de Jalatlaco. Do u have any recommendations for air bnbs or hotels/apartments, there? Also, how much for a person travelling alone, would u recommend for food and drink for 8-9 days? Like yourself, i also love the cafes

I hope u guys pay Mexican taxes because in the U.S. Mexicans pay a lot of taxes and to make matters worse when tax season comes around they are not able to get something back because they don't have papers, that is how bad the U.S. treats them and now that the USA elected a criminal clown for president things are going to get even sadder. We are getting tired of foreigners and perhaps you guys should think about extending your stay in Mexico it may not be that welcoming in the future. Food, fruits, vegetables, and the political scene in the U.S. is really bad and u guys should go back.

You seem like a nice girl living your dream life. But a word of caution. TH-cam is not a career for the long run. Ai will take over many of the travel vlogs we see today. The number of vloggers able to support their independent lifestyle will be greatly diminished in the near future. That’s what technology does. It’s about business and making the money. Why would a company pay content creators when technology can do it free! Google (the youtube owner) knows that and is just killing time until the right moment. Speaking of killing time, make sure you prepare for the future with a career path unless you wanna risk being 40 years old with a serious job (and income) crisis. And speaking of crisis, imo, it’s best to keep the channel as yours only. Keep your boyfriend out of sight as much as possible. Why do I say that? Because take a look at successful channels from the past. It’s really awkward when a couple breaks up or worse (think Gabby). Young vloggers can barely manage a lasting relationship much less juggling the stress of not having any roots with a home. Think about it, you travel all over the world but you’re not important enough to each to put a ring on it and make it legally binding (which says a lot about the commitment). And what about making a family?Do you want to be 70 when you kids are graduating high school? Sorry about being long winded, I’m trying to get it (my advice) all in. All that said, congrats on your wonderful achievements thus far. Cheers!
