Yeah it's one of my favourites

Basically just feels like a slower draugur. Of everything I tested it has the worst low speed adjustability so it tends to understeer a lot. I think in low speed hair pins (like the switchbacks on ziricon) it would benefit from handbrake usage but I didn't try it enough to know whether it is truly faster or not.

This is like Bambi's first brake boosting adventure vs some of the combos out there (and with people much better than me).

The handling is quite a bit better on the widebody as well. I don't really think either them gain more speed over bumps vs each other, what really mitigates the widebody's lower straight line speed is it's ability to brake boost beyond what the regular Jester RR's speed cap allows for. The Jester RR has quite a high speedcap so you don't hit it that often on even bumpy roads without brake boosting. Another massive downside for the Jester RR is through highspeed corners that only need a slight lift, it's extremely easy to short shift into top gear and then hit the speedcap. You notice it a lot on the fast left hander on hardwood hill after the downhill, in the lap I lift off a lot for the corner (way more than needed) because If I lift just a little bit it will short shift and then you bleed speed massively.

If it was just a bit faster it would quite nice imo.

After I run through the release cars I plan on testing the Jester RR W on the street race tracks, but it's going to take a little while before that gets done.

It's got some strong brake boosting for sure.

It would yeah, but the most I can comfortably run without getting too much high fps stutter is 160.

Going inbetween the pillars and bouncing off the wall is quite a bit faster (a couple of tenths probably) but I'm not a fan wall riding so I don't do it.

Ty for kind words. If you're just after clean(er) racing you're probably better off looking into project homecoming on fivem, or a racing crew (crews like NOVA do regularish playlist nights).

Yeah It's totally broken at high fps. I have all the stuff shot for a 60 fps comparison, just gotta motivate myself to actually make the video.

The FX is definitely the more fun of the two to drive.

Whatever the default is on project homecomming, IIRC there is no option for it.

In a race where high fps is allowed, easily the lm87 because the top speed is 80-100 km/h faster than the others. When E&E comes out on PC it might change the physics engine to be fps independent in which case I'd probably pick the omaggio because I'm more consistent with it.

For tuners the Vectre is best, the sultan is competitive depending on the track and nothing else is close to those two. That is for street race tracks, on some custom tracks the growler will also be competitive.

I had a quick look but couldn't find a Bolide in the car list. There is one Bolide mod for GTA that hasn't had the model ripped from another game, so I suppose it isn't impossible that it could end up on the Project Homecoming server at some point. If you mean the Itali GTO then no it's not at all similar.

I test the Itali GTO in this video here: th-cam.com/video/P2sO3imRkvY/w-d-xo.html In it, i'm 5 seconds slower on this track vs the Turismo Omaggio.

It's brake boosting.

It depends but generally I would say yes. Where it seems to make most difference is the interactions with bumps and the speed gain you get from them. I don't think the actual top speed is higher on higher fps, but the speed gains before that over bumps seems to be higher. If you're using a keyboard like me, then it also feels like it's more likely to shift up and not get stuck in gears. If you're using a controller you can 'short shift' which bypasses this getting stuck a lot. There are of course some cars which have completely broken physics at high fps. If you drive the LM87 capped at 60 fps, it feels really slow in a straight line. You drive it at high fps and it is probably the fastest car in a straight line.
