I love this instrument. Where could I find more about, history, maker, and maybe even plans. Holding it on the chest under the chin solves a lot of problems that regular cellists must deal with. The big question for me is this the kind of five-string cello used in Bach's time? I was under the impression that suite #6 was written for a regular-sized cello with an extra E string above the A.

The sound needs amplification. I lost many notes due to inability to turn up the volume. Besides his spasmodic playing does not contribute to the enjoyment, .Mr Malov is a unique product of this instrument and I am sure he can endeavour many pieces not only baroque but even modern commissioned ones that this instrument and his technique can produce.I urge our able composers to write music that this instrument and its player can do wonders.

A 5 string Viola ish de gamba like! I know every note of this piece but it is fascinating to hear it on a mini Viola/Cello Bravo ! How can I get that instrument please !? 🙏 ❤
