Hi everyone! Yesterday I started something called 'Deustch Donnerstag', but today, Fridays, is for 'French Friday'. This language series is to improve my languages - I've already explained why German, and French? My parents come from (DR) Congo and so I grew up with French, and when I was young I spoke French at home but when I started school, I started to speak English more and more (compared to French). And even today when speaking with my cousins, it's a mixture of English and French because most are trying to learn English. But I find that I now speak broken English...and I don't like that. I hear people on the streets speaking French and it's clean, and like music to my ears. But I find that the French I speak is not like that. And it makes me sad. So! I've also started 'French Fridays'. Please! Don't judge me. I know certain family members are going to say whatever they're going to say (👀). This is simply to practice my languages and also I like speaking different languages, so this is a bit of *she struggles to find the French word for "fun"*...I don't know. But yes, every Friday is French Friday, so welcome and till next week!
