Does someone know why this song mentions Narvik? As far as I know the only troops fighting in Narvik were Gebirgsjäger (mountain infantry) and navy. My grandfather was a Gebirgsjäger there. I never heard about Fallschirmjäger (paratroopers) serving in Narvik.

Whether exceptionally brave, courageous, or just plain crazy they clearly had balls. I cannot imagine the fate of the entire world if WWII would of been now with the woke insanity of of today, what tomorrow would be for our children and their children and their children's children given an axis powers victory instead of the allied victory... We will never truly understand exactly what it is that these men did for us all...they were real heros, especially those who never got to come home...
