Thanks. I had a handyman use expandable foam, on Crack behind a poorly installed bathroom vanity. I think he put too much, now it has oozed out looking like maybe brain white matter. What can I do now? 😮

Your video was super helpful to me. You included important points about twisting the strands and looping the wire clockwise, which were both points that other videos left out. My life was miserable trying to get that wire to stay on while tightening and it was because initially I had it looped counterclockwise! Thanks for your clear video too - it was great having the close-ups.

I am a WHY person. Why does a push-on switch stop engaging? It does not click at all. Wiring looks fine inside and there are no broken pieces inside. It just does not click to 'on' when pushed. Thoughts? Thank you!

5:59 Cheese-wiz like aerosol silicone caulk can says DAP Simple Seal just in case anyone else is trying to see what it is while he's moving the can around and the camera man is doing his own thing in other directions with the camera light on for some reason (frustrating). I tried to look in the description for a list of all these products...nope, not there but it would've been nice. Whewww, it's a lot of info on here but sheesh the only examples of what stuff looks like inside the can is some secs after 13:00 for the spray foam (and they're pre-sprayed lines to show them expanded). Another comment says the exact spot for this

It ‘s not the $$$ it the getting them to the repair place without ruining them😄 I 100% recommend this video. Thanks for helping me save my antique lamp :) I don’t have a wire stripping tool, so I used a utility knife to cut through the plastic. Whole repair went off without a hitch and the total cost was under $6!

I retrieved a lovely lamp from my parents house when they sold it to fund their care home. Unfortunately my clumsy brother dismantled it and now it doesn’t work! The lamp socket will not come off it just turns on itself! Any ideas? I may have put the switch back upside down!
