@nebulabass LENS FILTERS. i used to always automatically assume it best to place a filter, if for no other reason than protection of front element of lens. apparently, some or many people believe that only if a super high quality filter is used then the filter will not degrade the quality of the image. somehow i find it hard to believe that even a modest filter can noticeably degrade the image.

In this video I used a Peter McKinnon VND filter. I use that for outdoor shows in the sun.

It's a Polarpro Helix Maglock VND filter.

I don't use a filter for indoor shows.
