Iv only as it happened, started selling on ebay (the wk, it went free to sell), and had a few decent sales, but wouldn't have got that type of cash on vinted. On vinted pl dnt wana pay, i list al my clothes £1 each, the lowest about you can list an item. pl wil say stuf like, wil you take 80p and if i buy these two items = £2, then wil you cover the postage? - what, so i make no money, and actually loose money? mental! pl are of their head on vinted!. only god for a good, quick sale, and buying cheaper for your own personal wardrobe to wear, as its cheaper than real life charity shops! :) x

I saw exactly the same brand jacket with a new tag in Ty Hafan charity shop, Llantrisant, South Wales - and exactly the same thought processes, lol. Corporate donations, perhaps?!

I think vinted has a younger user base so sports wear goes well. High quality stuff and office wear sells well on eBay for the older customers m

I agree re Vinted and hopefully we are seeing EBay moving the goalposts in a positive way for Business sellers.

I wouldn’t move to vinted pro until they improve the customer service and actually protect sellers from scammers. Returns are going to cause lots of problems I think. I’ll just watch and see for a while.

Another thing with Vinted - the seller doesn’t get paid until the buyer receives, and accepts the order. I love the Inpost locker system though, as the lockers are just across the road from me!

Some great sales there Chris 👍 Never heard of Luca Faloni or Supreme but definitely 2 brands I'll be keeping an eye out for in future 😎 Like yourself I also enjoy picking up band merch (usually t-shirts) and have done ok with them but did have a fail this week when I picked up what I thought was a vintage Prince 'Purple Rain' t-shirt from a chazzer which on closer inspection at home turned out to be a flipping Primark re-issue! 🙈😅

I picked up a pair of Karrimor walking sandals the other day, got them listed straight away and sold within 24hrs for full price! I was surprised given how the weather has changed.

We've all done it, I've taken a punt on Canada Goose, Off White, Stella McCartney and Mulberry to name just a few and they've not stood up to scrutiny. Just one of those things. I try to be positive and think I've paid that £5 or whatever to learn a valuable lesson.

As the carboot season comes to a close, charity shops, as we know, are more likely to become a regular source of stock for resellers... And a bone of contention for many....I know, high prices, poor stock, they get the stuff for free, etc etc Heard it all before.... I work at one in my day job ... In the online team (Don't hate me) And am working on a project to revamp one of our stores with sensible pricing, generic, modern, retro and vintage all under one roof, stock for all including resellers...Interested in road testing it on or after our opening day ? (It's near to you, and in a location you've said you would never return to !!!) We would love to hear what you think.. and to see if we can covert you back to shopping locally.. and returning... People are getting made to go off private accounts and made to move to business accounts. The deal has been sweetened with money off fees for a while. But they are making them move over.

I stopped going to Holsworthy a few years ago. That first shop the animal charity one are totally bonkers! How on earth they make any money and manage to carry on trading is beyond me

I bought a huge collection of football figures off marketplace all still on the card backings, same issue - absolutely stank. I spent ages cleaning each one including the card backings with antibac wipes and they genuinely came up pretty great, the smell and staining all came off for the most part. Hope you manage to do something with it.

Stick the smelly bike on vinted, declare its flaws, and may get ur dosh bk. And not crap on ur ebay account 😂

I went to a car boot sale on Sunday. Couldn’t find anything I wanted to buy until I looked at the very last stall and found a Minolta camera for £1. I have just sold it for £85.

Love your videos man! Most reseller youtubers these days (who I used to love when they first started out) have just become influencers, promoting (and probably getting paid by) new selling platforms and wholesalers that no ones heard of. Their videos are super mundane generic day in the life content that they just do to keep the youtube algorithm ticking. Your videos are always really informative and actually useful to watch and listen to! Keep it up and don't become one of the influencers!
