Building a home bar in 10 MINUTES (Timelapse)
Time-lapse of me building a home bar. The build itself was fairly cheap, and the DIY overall took me about 2 weeks. although I have little experience in carpentry I found the building to e fairly easy, yet tedious.
I simultaneously loved and loathed working on thus during lockdown, it gave me a much needed outlet to focus on while not much was happening. I'm by no means a carpenter but the finished product is far better than I had initially hoped for.
If I was making another bar I would do some things differently. Hopefully this video will give you some ideas if you are planning on building your own bar.
price list:
pallets: €0
lumber for structures: €140
high stools: €0 (salvaged from skip)
paint: €200
mirror: €0 (recycled from broken pieces)
metal roofing: €0 (recycled material)
screws/tools/little bits: €80
Guinness tap: €140
lager tap: €60
beer cooler: €200

What brackets did he use to keep pallets together?
What are all the items used, size and count? I want to do this for my backyard.
He may aswell pop round and build it for you aswell 🤣. Just copy the video doesn't have to be exactly the same does it
How much was spent?
Look in description.
What colour you use
Orange
Nice.👌

😂
Great job 👏
This is a great fun 10 minutes. Hope you're still checking these but, I'm building a very similar style outdoor bar and I need to know how you hooked up your beer towers. Like what is the setup going on beneath the screen there. Just tapped into a keg sitting in ice? I was told you have to keep the line cold all the way up into the tower. So I've been handcuffed trying to figure out how I'll keep my kegs and line cold because I didn't create enough room under the bar top for a fridge. If anyone else has any ideas would be helpful.
I bought a cooler second-hand and run my kegs through it. You will need to buy beer line and some 'John Guest' fittings that will fit both the cooler and lines. To keep the lines cold you can put insulation (lagging) around the pipes going up to your tap but this is not necessary. Some taps will also have a line built into them that circulates water through your beer cooler. This is the best way to keep the beer cold all the way through the line. The disadvantage of this is that it uses an extra line from your cooler. So it's not necessary and I personally do not do it.
Thanks for the reply. Do you have a picture of your setup? I’m trying to picture how the cooler sits and the line setup. I’m going to look into a cooler and some fittings now and try to see if Incan make that work. Thanks again for the reply, cheers 🍻
These guys got C- in woodworking and shop class and haven't done anything like it since?
It's nicer than your bar 😉
@@crockpott8539 wtf are you talking about you ain't seen my bar
Tyler your just salty that your mum said you couldn't convert the basement into a bar cos that's where her bondage dungeon is.
@mylesdean7416 my mom's dead asshole, you're pathetic, if you feel attacked your defense is to attempt to insult the attackers mom? Wtf are you, 12 in the 90s?
How does this look 3yrs later....
Still nice and in use. We have built an indoor bar also since the outdoor one was so successful.
Looks great! But always practice safe PPE
Safety first, then teamwork
This is awsome!!! Love it will be copying this!!! How many pallets in total? 10?
So many people feel this way and i hope the elite is ready for the Storm
Stay off the drugs bro
Where's your roof purlins for that corregate metal
And the gutters?? Ridge tiles jeeeez
Junk
Looks great! Now you can serve yourself drinks…
The rain will ruin this over time if kept uncovered out doors
Then you build a new one, it's not meant to outlive the house it sits next to 😂. He's using reclaimed timber and bashing something up, not building a structure that needs building regs ffs 😅
Building crap out of crap. Pitiful.
Why you watching then you nonce.
@@mylesdean7416 Another dumbass comment
Off. Mean it 😊😮
No safety glass, no gloves. 😮 lol
Pallets are amazing freebies nice work ❤
great video...but dude gogglessssss when cutting...
great approx how many pallets you need for this project
the man cut the 2 by 4 with a hand saw then 45 degree it wit the electric saw (smart guy)
Practically builds on his own then the lads suddenly show up when the pumps are being tested! lol!
Howmuch altogether to build?
Prices are in the description.
I was like so so until you got to the tap system and I saw those beautiful pints of guniess!
I could have drank 2 pints in the time they spent pouring and staring at those beers.
How does this look after 2 years? 🙂
Still very nice. Countertop has a bit of wear.
Do you have a link for the Gunnies tap
Yeah I've NEVER seen that many pallets in good condition before
All for free also 😁
Wow, you wouldn't even think it was made of scrap. I can't imagine this cost more than maybe $200 to build when considering the paint, screws, wood for the roof and the plastic wrap. Looks incredible
This is awesome bro, thanks for the ideas and inspo 💯👍🏼🙏🏼
I used about 8
Bro ,cutting that metal . EYE PROTECTION!!!!
Eye understand
Couldn't agree more
Keep them next to the tampons so you can remember

Awesome!
This is amazing! Well done 👍🏾
So what would you do differently? It looks great btw
I would put it on wheels. I ended up building an indoor bar. It's much nicer and keeps all equipment safe.
Looks good but you don't have a working station?
Good👍
Don't quite me on this but I think this video was sped up! 👀
🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤣🤣it says time LAPSED!!!😂😂😂🤔
This video saved my life
Well done, it's excellent. Next time we meet it will be at yours. More fun than drinking tea.
