I'm sorry, but I couldn't continue to worship in a church that sings songs by Elevation Worship, especially when the pastor claims to be God almighty. This video clip from Elevation Church ( th-cam.com/video/n4fVB2s7Kgg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3nwYq1javV_tpftG&t=114 ) illustrates why I left. The church seemed more focused on performance than spiritual growth. I've harbored doubts since childhood about attending such 'Christian events' that prioritize music and worship as spectacle. While the passion, volume, and style of worship might seem impressive, it's crucial to consider the doctrinal implications. As a KJV-only Dispensationalist, I've found guidance through teachers like Gene Kim, who have enriched my understanding of Scripture. I encourage you all to reconsider the songs and doctrines being promoted. I'm praying for you all. I shouldn't hate or discourage, but pray.
