Hey MotorCity, do you have an email address we can use to contact you regarding your videos? I'd love to discuss a license to use some of them if possible! Cheers, Felix
This is a mess! No paramedics? Where's backup?
What a great video I enjoy watching your videos keep making great videos I like your videos a lot keep making great videos I enjoy watching your videos
nice video
im pretty sure thats not how you demolish a building but i guess it is made of toothpicks and loose rock
Old buildings like this one , it's one of those videos where I can't watch because it emotionally hurts me 😢😢😢
Don’t like music fill in for sound, I need to hear 👂 bricks 🧱 falling
Americans sure don't love their architectural history.
I'd rather see the crack houses disappear....not this. It should have been restored
Feel free to upload again so we hear the demolition
Saw Emerson Lake & Palmer there spooky place with lots of dope.
Who would want to live or develop anything in Detroit?
As a very old Detroiter..., I watched so much of our history demolished, that I have no tears to cry any more. I have also come to realize..., that you can not save them all. Thank God for photos.
Why don't you show a clip when the job is finished .
Wow someone must have got a cats tail in the door that horrible squawking
6:08 Nice job, operator!!! He manages to bring down most of the building and get out of harm's way all at once!!!
Sad.. movie palace of the past.going down.it probably had a pipe organ in there that sang well.. during intermission..single a longs..
Movies in the late 50s' were .25 to .35 cents per ticket and often included two movies and a cartoon. In the early 60s' I ushered at the Saturday matinees!
So much of that terra cotta moulding could have been saved, sad.
imagine trying to demolish an an entire town of 1 million population
All gone now... Along with the people....
This guy is nutz …
Sell assets and build a football stadium.
I’ve been an excavator operator for about 5 years now and honestly this operator sucks. I’ve never hit power lines or had any accident at all. 🤦🏻♀️
I was at this protest the dude taking the video was upsetting the protesters by asking stupid questions in their face. The cops were asked by the lead protest organizer for him to be put on the other side of the road. all other media were on the other side and there was plenty of time after the march for interviews. Muckraker trying to start stuff all day. The cops allowed the protestors to peacefully protest all afternoon without incident.
Just imagine how good they would have sounded if they all hadn't been stoned while playing....
What a waste of water someone needs to shut it down
All that history lost very sad .
Grateful Dead sucks by the way
Very sad. Detroit needs to stop voting Democrat
Detroit needs to be removed from the planet
I feel so heart sick when I see something like this happen. Another piece of history demolished and gone forever. What a shame !!!!!!
1:16 poor guy keeps having to dodge the pole lol
They could have saved, at least, the stone works around the building.... very sad indeed!!!!
The first time Kraftwerk ever played anywhere in the Midwest. Showcase, 1975.
ANOTHER piece of HISTORY GONE 😢
How that town got money to demolish that? There is much work to do still. Very neat floorprint if I got it right.
Enemies of the people.
L
"Hands up don't shoot" bunch of fools yelling something over and over again that was proven to be a complete lie. A bunch of ignorant people out protesting chanting a lie to protest, these people are just as dumb as Trump supporters protesting about "stop the steal", sad.
What pisses me off about this is that I have seen buildings slated for Demolition and people wanted to save certain pieces of the architecture and they were told no and it was then destroyed, wtf!! What a disgusting show of humanity and their lack of appreciation of history 😒
Re-develop, Why would they?
I've never seen such a careless, unprofessional "demolition." I'd bet that whoever's driving that thing isn't licensed to do it, but if they are, that license should be revoked.
LaSalle at Buena Vista.
No no no Not the likher store.
Appalling music.
more earning the hate.
It doesn’t look like there was much left to support the walls of that old building after the fire. Good thing they brought down as quickly as they did. Sad to see another interesting building go. I was rather concerned about the building hitting the power lines next it though. Hope that no one go hurt from that. The weird thing was in the first shot of the excavator hitting the side of the building, it didn’t even look like he had touched it and it collapsed anyway. Thanks for posting Mudraker.
For those of us who have never been there watching urban exploration videos of the inside really puts the space into perspective, what an amazing venue this used to be. Reflects a time when Detroit was in its hayday.
Now even rats leaved.
THIS !! AIN'T ! NO !!! THEATER !! IT'S !! A !! VIOLET !! CRUMBLE !! BUILDING !!
