I purchased this plugin and I am quite disappointed with the documentation. For example - there is DUST-FX file and there is no single word in the documents how to use it. I placed it on the track and there is no sound. I placed somesynth in front of it (on the same track) and still no sound. I was quite excited watching this video, but now it really looks like unfinished product :-(

As much as I like and respect Melda plugins, I don't think this video is doing any justice to Soothe with those settings. You can not simply go with "Depth" to the maximum and expect transparent results without changing the settings to "Sharpness" and "Selectivity". That would be like the worst way of testing it. With the right settings it can sound really really transparent and with great results. And like someone else said in another comment, it can take like 10 seconds to dial in the propper settings. Not to mention that version 2 was improved and with great extra features.

Dont understand the argument. Spectral dynamics is not really cheaper than soothe. Also i can setup soothe to do what i want in 3,5 million times faster and more intuitively (for the majority of users, not everyone of course) than mspectral. That is worth gold to me but thats just my 2 cents

On this example, Pro-R and 7th Heaven sounded. It's good you have all 3. You now have choices.

35 min. in you are wondering what the differences are between the two; your settings are radically different, as are the visuals revealing what is being cut. The difference you made at 27min by raising the EQ on MSD in the upper mids is backwards, I believe. As Soothe shows what it is cutting. And you have raised MSD to reduce cutting the upper mids. Rather than carve, you've reduced the carve.

Je ne sais pas si les bandes son existent en bonne qualité mais ce spectacle ferait un album fabuleux. Si je me souviens ces spectacles étaient diffusés à Télé-Québec (En scène ?) Avez-vous celui avec Plume et Michel Rivard ? Celui-là était mémorable aussi.
