I actually called Tein usa about these coilovers because they do ride very low. The preload is already set by the factory and they recommended that I just move the lower cup of the shock body, just unscrew it, I forgot what the minimum was for the amount of thread. So I did that and then reinstalled the shock and it got my ride height a couple of inches up.

you should have just fiberglassed some riv nuts in there.

Single cam solidarity ! The Ridge can be a frustrating place at times, closing on the car in front through 11 and 12 and getting the point by but the 70hp doesn't do much except get louder when you stomp the skinny pedal.

hey bro i have flex z on my dc2 and they come with a guide in the intructions that lists exact measurements for total length top to bottom, top dual spring perch to top hat, bottom single perch to bottom, and top perch to bottom perch basically measurements for shock travel "preload" & recomended ride hieght I highly recommend adjusting the bottom perch to their top to bottom measurements so you have full droop & travel and then use the top spring perch "preload" and adjust ride height +/- 20-30mm from their recommened settings if you really want to low but assuming since this is titled track build you care more about handling than looks if you set them to the tein specs then get corner balance and alignment will be night and day difference in hanbdling and ride quality i promise ive have multiple sets on teins over the years and wish i had learned that sooner if you dont have the guide or specs message me and ill send them to you might be on their website but very least use "preload" spring perch for ride height not bottom so you dont sacrife droop/travel and ride quality/handling. Just found your channel im in seattle as well looking forward to more videos and build progreess hopefully ill see you at the ridge or pacific sometime

May I suggest the next step for your suspension be a rear cross member brace, Integra lower control arms(even just some used ones so you can add a front and rear sway bar), and Integra sway bars. LMK when you address those brakes, we can talk about the Frankenstein BBK!

Heat gun would come in handy to help with runs and any blemishes caused by touching. It basically heats up the paint to re liquify and flatten out.
