Can still recall this level crossing having those vintage looking wigwags with the narrow white boarders & vintage barriers in the early 1990's {around 1996/'97 is when the halogen wigwags got the red and white boarders; then in 2012/2013 the halogens were switched to LEDS}, and yes its always had those loud yodalarms! Not quite sure when the barriers got upgrades ¯\(°_o)/¯¯\(°_o)/¯
A tremendous shot of Chilham Level Crossings Coasty :-). This goes on the way to Ramsgate going through Chilham :-). Excellent shot indeed though a real shame about the Hastings Diesel that was going to run a railtour on Saturday 20th August 2022 but faced the cancellation due to rail strikes equally being industrial action :-(. That chime blast woke the neighbours up.
Downside, that weird alarm is gone. Upside, the new alarm is lot louder than the older alarm was, and it sounds alot like Pirton.

The Alarm didn't continue what happen if some blind or couldn't hear
