[Sorry if it's too much] In this take of the Flim Shrek it would be shown that...Shrek never thought of Donkey as a friend but a Beast of Burden While at the dragons Castle Donkey would hear Shrek telling Fiona why he was Truley doing this quest Not for friendship or Love or a HAPPYLY EVER AFTER Just for HIS SWAMP(and Was willing to do anything to get it back) (Shrek never Fell in love with Fiona or became best friends with donkey in this Take of the film). Donkey felt Hurt by this and the encounter between donkey and Shrek on the bridge of the castle would take place. (THE I HATE YOU) Would show Donkey tripping (On accident or self-defense) Shrek falling into the moat of lava as Donkey and Fiona would walk away from the bridge as Donkey Felt Immense guilt
