Two greats here. Alvin Lee didn’t receive the recognition he deserved.

George and Alvin were neighbors. And George had a studio in his home. Where he and Alvin always got to jam with people like Clapton, Buchanan. Moon, Page and lots of current top musicians of the time. Unfortunately by the time this song came out. FRM statins were becoming incorporated. And no one paid them to play this song.

I was thinking of Alvin Lee today -- I used to see him at the Fillmore East playing with TYA. Always appreciated his non-chalant mastery of the guitar. I'm not quite as old as the last commenter, (close!) but somehow missed this track, too!

This has to be one of the best tracks of the 20th century.

Saw Alvin & Ten Years After at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City in the seventies. Alvin Lee is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. RIP

The first time I witnessed Alvin Lee's mastery add a venue in Chicago called the syndrome first act what is Milan second act if 3 act steppenwolf finally Alvin Lee and ten years after took the stage all the members of the other groups lined up in front of the stage in all has Alvin Lee took over the man was incredible he just took it to the next level and sadly missed God bless you Alvin Lee and George Harrison

To the folks that never knew Alvin Lee was such a good soloist: he’s got plenty of songs that show it off, from this one to I’m Going Home live at Woodstock ( or anywhere else, lol), to I Woke Up This Morning, to I’d Love to Change the World, and more. A lot of his songs were kinda set ups for his awesome soloing, actually.

TYA really blew Woodstock away.
