Love these rods. I have two of them. One in the expert and one in the the Cara. They’re a great top water rod too. Love pitching frogs and small poppers around structure with them.

I find it hard enough to work my 6' St Croix from the bank much less something 6'8". 🤷‍♀

Would this rod skip 3/8-1/2 oz jigs with trailers and 20lb test? I've been using head turner for this and love it but I've gotten schooled a couple of times with bigger fish. I'm wanting something just the next step in power but still with tip to roll cast and skip.

I will be casting from the bank only using the 1/4 oz and 1/8 oz rooster tails and some time using live night crawler and live minnows and live cricket and sometimes some 1/16 oz and 1/8 oz customers hand tied hair jigs . I love this rod. My son and I both caught our first trout with it. We fish a lot of creeks and it is perfect to load up and get long casts.

ML is kinda heavy and it’s on the upper-end when it comes to BFS

This Deep Runner is one of my all time Favorite rods! It is very versatile with many lures depending on line preference for the specific occasion.. Everyone would find a spot on the Roster for this gem!

I broke the tip off my 7.3 low rider last weekend.....guess its a 7.2 now...

I tied a hybrid hunter on this rod by accident one day and after using it all day I knew my search for the best rod to throw that bait on was over... I like throwing big square bills on it also.
