Remove Humira Syringe From Auto-Injector Pen for Manual Injection (for new citrate-free Pens too)

Some people prefer to control their own injection rather than letting the auto-injector slam the plunger into the syringe and needle into the stomach. If you are going to self inject just be sure to pinch a fatty chunk of skin and inject at a 45 degree (diagonal) angle.

    Schlage recommends a “premium alkaline battery,” not a lithium (rechargeable or not), and no off-brand or store-brand batteries. Lithium show full charge until the day they don’t and you may be locked out of your house. Alkalines give a bit of warning before fully dead.

    Live in Michigan where when it gets cold I had this problem. Watched videos similar to this and got it to work for a while, then it failed again. What I did solved the problem. I took off the small spring on that little piston and let gravity do its thing. Just saying, if you clean it up. NO oil, maybe graphite, but I didn't put anything on it. just made sure it was very clean. No problems whatsoever. Hang on to the spring in case, but I don't think you'll need it ever. Mines been off for 6 months.

    Joe - is there a name for that spring? I know, it is a "spring". But, Schlage has nomenclature and p/n for every device ever made. So, in the absence of any ability to get a human interface, I just need to know how to tell them what I need. For the immediate term, this video hack is brilliant, and it worked. THANKS!

    I’m not sure what happened here but I’ve gone through three M12 surges. The first one the collar broke off and I couldn’t find it and so I took it to Home Depot and they just gave me a new one. It would’ve been an easy fix though the second one got stolen and so I had to pick up a third one. I had the second generation impact M 12 and I just picked up the third generation a few months ago, and the surge is absolutely positively nowhere near as powerful as either of those generations. You can find 1 million TH-cam videos about the M 12 surge versus the regular M 12 in every situation the M 12 annihilate the surge. I mean it’s not even close. Unless I had three defective surge M 12 drills, this video is not accurate at all. All I do is construction work, and the M 12 surge is under powered and heavy although it does have its uses I have the M18 surge. And with the small 2.0 battery it is not that much heavier than the M 12 surge with the six amp battery. Honestly the M 12 surge is not that quiet compared to the M 18 surge. The emetine surge is much more ergonomic and lighter weight and better balance than the regular M 18 impact driver, I love the M 18 surge it handles everything. But my go to tool is the third generation M 12 impact. It is insanely powerful and lightweight and I wear headphones all day with noise canceling so the noise does not bother me at all.

    • @someProject
      @someProject ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m the opposite, I’ve went through 3 M12 impacts lol. I want to like them because they’re so light and compact, but they just haven’t offered any advantage over the surge. I keep a Kobalt XTR impact (2400 in-lbs) for anything I for some reason can’t tackle with the Surge or hammer drill. I do appreciate your response and experience. Ultimately you’re the one doing the work!
