@@motomule3364 cheers mate, i prefere mouses just cos i ride a lot of places where i used to get punctures on air tyres on my old bike, since i switched to mouses i can ride over barbed wire, scrap metal, spikey pine branvhes u name it 🤣

Thank you im glad you enjoyed it! I got one other wild camp video up, it wasnt quite as adventurous, but today as we speak im heading out to a forrest by a river in the middle of a storm to film another!

@@delythcs9989 yeah a lot of this footage is zoomed in so i was actually much further back, at the curner we were behind big trees but we got caught short when walking back from having lunch between classes! Were stepping out the way as much as possible and the marshals were happy with where we were, but i will bear it in mind next time!

🤣 i have never ridden mx in my life haha, i only ride enduro and hard enduro if you look at my other videos such as riding at mick extance etc, i broke traction as i have permission to be there and i ride there often and it looks good on camera and thats an access that gets churned up by tractors once a year, my clutch cable is fine, the friction plates are worn out cos thats my old bike and i havent changed them in a while, also my entire life i have lived in the countryside making fires and bushcraft camps etc, there is absolutely no issue with fire placement next to that tree at all, although i appreciate your concern! Thanks for watching

Also that torch is a headlamp that has a flood and in the centre of the flood is a focused beam, the camera adjusts ISO so it makes it look like its just a beam

@@MudSlingMXI was misled by the MX in the name :) Yeah, that’s what I meant, the clutch can burn in no time with this kind of riding, clutch cable can break, and more. However, I did think it’s some remote location and you do wild camping, and can be difficult to reach if anything goes south. Same thing for the traction. If this is private property you’re allowed to shred then I guess it’s OK. Personally, I never do that when off the main trails. It’s a matter of respect for the environment and the wilderness. The fire so close to a tree always makes me anxious. I’ve seen a video of bush fire that had started like this. Sparks ignited the branches above. Like I said, it’s all good until it isn’t. So yeah, take what you want from my remarks ;]

@@MudSlingMXyou’ve been doing bushcraft your whole life? I don’t want to sound like a bitch, but based on the two vids, you operating that ax, the feather stick, the fires, etc., I honestly couldn’t tell… But yeah, you do you, learn as you go, provided that it’s safe for you and the surroundings

@axamitidynamit yeah never get wild fires in this country especially in winter! I normally wild camp in remote locations but this one wasnt too far, either way i can push my bike back to the road n get picked up, i fibd the deer and wild boar dig up the trails more than i do, shred there every year n it always recovers back to normal by the time i come back so its all good

@@RonOrud i agree! I baught it cheap in a rush so i could get out comaping sooner haha, the second i got home i baught a DD hammocks 3x3m multi cam tarp, i used it in my other wild camp video, going out again this weekend to film another one!

Hu mate im one of the leadwrs and organisirs of hht as of the moment we only allroad legal enduro bikes. There is another event all about navigation and t4ailriding from the same venue we also run which you dont need to be a TRF member for called traction that would be better suited to you :) ​@MarkRhodes-c1y

@H19Enduro OK well I've been working on mine to make it a enduro because I want to do DAKAR racing so I was only looking for places in the uk to see what my bike can handle and what it doesn't like because I know the race in France goes throw it all

@MarkRhodes-c1y traction would be a better suited event it's like motorcycle orienteering with points which you get by answering questions at specific grid references some on trails some on road some at entrenched of trails. You can enter as a team or solo. Also any bike is welcome road, enduro, adventure etc along as its road legal you can enter

Depends on the bike, you can on most bikes, my rieju marathon pro however requires you to be in nutral because of an added switch, the yamaha wr125r can start in any gear!

@@MudSlingMX thx, thats good to know, seems its just how a particular brand wires them up, not mechanically impossilbe like on an AM6 with the kickstart.
