FW Skrydstrup Night Flying 2019
มุมมอง 2234 ปีที่แล้ว
Video of F-16's taking off during 2019 night flying training. Filmed on a GoPro mounted on a camera lens - hence the less than stellar image quality. The clicking sounds are the camera shutter, and the whirling noise is the lens image stabilisation.

Each year an Ex-RDAF Saab F-35 Draken is started up at its old home base Karup in Jutland. The engine is run up to full afterburner several times. In this video the engine is run at full afterburner 4 times.
were you there saturday or sunday?
I was there on the Saturday.
@uiyhjlfsawrre ahh yeah I was there sunday in the photo pit, very nice shots. What camera were you using?
@@MrWarthog_ The video was shot with an iPhone 16 Pro mounted on top of my DSLR and set to 5x zoom. Some of the shots were cropped while editing the videos
@@uiyhjlfsawrre oh nice.. I'm using my default samsung a13, probably why my shots aren't as clear haha
@@MrWarthog_ Honestly I don't know much about shooting video - My main thing is still photography. I'm just shooting video since I'm pointing my camera at the jets anyway :)
Were you in the photo pit?
Yes, I was in the photo pit on the Saturday.
@@uiyhjlfsawrre Ok, thanks. I had considered going to this show and wondered about buying into the photo pit - do you think it was worth it? Looks like you got some pretty clean shots - any trouble with people getting in front of you?
@@RonBurkett It is a good spot, and you are pretty much show center. One issue with the pit is that it is quite narrow, so if you want take offs and landings without people in front of you, you have to show up early to secure a front row spot. The biggest problem with shooting at this show is that you are shooting into the sun all day, but that's an issue no matter where you stand. Was it worth the price, considering the amount of flying and the types of aircraft at the show? Honestly I would consider just going to the show, and then spend the money you save on the photo pit to go to another air show where you have the sun behind you. But if this would be the only show you go to, then yes, spend the extra cash to get into the photo pit if you are serious about getting the pictures.
😍 just love it
F-35???
The fighter version of the Saab Draken was designated the F-35 Draken when in service with the Royal Danish Air Force. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_35_Draken

j35
It is correct that the Swedish designation was J35 (J for "jagt" (hunt)), but in the Royal Danish Air Force they used the "F"igther designation :-)
@@uiyhjlfsawrre OH ty for the info
Mas o tanque ventral dele não pode ser tão baixo assim pode ?
Love the sound of turbojets...they sound awesome compared to fan-jets (even with the smaller bypasses used in military jets.
I couldn't agree more. It sounds awesome.
Very cool man!
Det er godt nok sjældent at finde noget overhovedet, billeder, film, af de gamle danske Saab F-35 Dragen. Nok det smukkeste jagerfly der endnu er bygget.
James: There seem to be screens in front of the intakes.
Correct. There are metal nets in front of the intakes. They are there to protect the engine from ingestion and small object (and people ;-) as the engine test stand is surrounded by trees.
I seriously shat myself at 4:10. Totally thought that dude was gonna get sucked in!
LazyScoutJace I agree. sick!!
My God I want to own one of those!
