Thanks for the videos! I take my Ridercoach class soon in march can’t wait!
That’s awesome. Keep in mind. The class is just the beginning. As an MSF instructor the learning never stop. If you have any questions along the way. Don’t hesitate to reach out here or on Instagram I appreciate your watching and commenting.
Good ideas - thanks dude.
Glad it was helpful. Appreciate you watching commenting
Dude, do yourself a favor and never lift a bike without it being strapped down before you lift it up. Good luck and be safe
I appreciate the advice. I felt secure lifting it without straps since it was on the paddock stand. But a little extra security couldn't hurt. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Just bought a new 2025 MT-09 SP. I love everything you have done.
Thank you. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
You cleaned the chain in just 7 min? You need to clean the rollers ,not just outside. When i clean my motorcycles chains i do more then 1hr each. You are doing quick wash and nothing else.
I promise its was clean 😁. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO! That is the kind of stuff I do. It will all work out in the end.
If nothing else I learned a lesson and hopefully someone else will see this and learn form my mistake. Appreciate you watching and commenting
I’ve had a 2002 DRZ since 2006. I still love it. She’s got 21k miles on it now.
They’re great bikes. I’m glad to hear yours is still going strong Appreciate you eating and commenting
Yikes...I was yelling put up the stand when you were putting the bike on the table.
The worst part is I made the gesture just before it and for the life of me can’t figure out why I didn’t. New tank is $600. Lesson learned.
@haneymoto ugh
Thank you so much for this video and taking the time to do it You really helping out a lot of people, I have two 2023 MT09'S And did both of them simultaneously with your video. You're the best Thank you for putting these out.
Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad it’ll the video was so helpful. Appreciate you watching and commenting
I had to stop by and convey my appreciation to you for making this video. Between your video and another guy's video, I was able to install an SC Project exhaust on my 2024 XSR900 this morning. I watched your video so many times that the actual install was super smooth. The most challenging portion for me was getting the bolt off that attaches the lower bracket on the radiator. It was slow going for sure. Besides that everything else was a breeze. So much so that I found myself scratching my head and wondering if I missed anything. lol. Well, no left over parts so it should be ok. Again, thank you for taking time to make this video. Muchas gracias amigo! Also, I tried your trick for hiding away the horn in the air duct. Lol, I didn't bolt it down like you did though. Just kinda stuffed it in there and called it good. May have to revisit that if it vibrates or tumbles around too much. That sucker sure is loud in there! Scared the bejeezus out of me when I did a horn check.
I very much appreciate your kind words and I’m glad it helped. That’s why I make the videos. That lower bolt is a pain in the but for sure. Again I really appreciate the kind words.
Man. Even though you told me that happened it was still painful to finally watch the bike go over. What a drag! On the bright side - it's a cool lift and it will make working on the bike so much easier. Including the repairs you have to do now. Kudos to you for keeping your cool through that ordeal.
Thank you my friend. Lesson learned. Hopefully my mistake will help others not do the same.
Good deal
Definitely going to make maintenance and repairs easier
Been a long time subscriber. Sorry about the mishap. It sucks but all can be repaired as needed. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. I’m in contact with a local dent repair that will have her good as new. I always want to post my mistakes to help others avoid making them. Really appreciate you subscribing and supporting my little channel. I’m hoping to get back to positing more regularly.
Nice one bro and great sharing
Thank you for watching and commenting
Nice job…. Based on your review I plan to purchase one today @ $69.99 Black Friday sale.. given the price I’ll probably also include the front lift..thank you!
@@philiproyes641 glad it helped. It’s a good stand for the money. Appreciate you watching and commenting
These are great videos I can’t believe there’s not more thumbs up! Thanks buddy!!
Glad you enjoyed them. Its a great place to ride. Looking forward to getting back there soon. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
After two years, Do you recommend this change?
Yes. I’m still very happy with the upgrade.
Buy a seat concept seat, well worth it.
Thank you for the recommendation. So far I am happy with the stock seat
You can go further with removing the db killer. th-cam.com/video/zd7AFCcoIzk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QQhs94W1B0nfGNI_
I just completetly removed the horn on my 2021 sp to install my steering damper in a proper way. Dont need a horn I use my akrapovic to scare people 😅
😂 good point. My SC project is much more effective
That's really cool and interesting video bro. Great sharing and I'm glad to add my self to your channel. Greatings from the Philippines. Have a great day ahead brother
Darn hurricanes! They slow us down , and make it a rough road for many, but we keep riding on Nice video brother! Nice looking shop too!🌴😎👍
Thank you sir. My wife gets the rest of the house. I get the garage. Looking forward to adding a lift next week.
Any thoughts on this one vs the US 20? I have a US 10 and need something with more room for runners and lunch.
The 30 is quite a bit bigger than the 10. I can get about a weeks worth of clothes in the 30. If it’s for lunch and shoes, you may consider one of the Nelson Riggs Commuter bags. I have the commuter lite and it’s a great bag. Appreciate you watching and commenting
@ It is for working at the hospital, bringing a binder, clipboard, and a couple of book for grad school, plus lunch, plus gym clothes and runners. Could I get away with the 20? I have the Panigale fitment kit on my R6 like @katsuo_racing (so US 10/20/30 attaches in a sleek way) and I live in a place where I can ride super fast and really move around on the bike so I am trying to avoid going back to backpack. It is really down to the 20 vs 30
Thanks brother
Hope all is well my friend
@haneymoto all's well .😋😋😋
Glad you weren't hit hard.
Had to come and watch, after our discussion of this🤤
coincidentally, I cooked some up for BLTs last night 🙂
Seems like I remember seeing and hearing this sewing machine on wheels somewhere recently 😅
Thanks for the great video brother, I just bought one! 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad it helped. Mine is still working great Appreciate you watching and commenting
Damn, I’m glad to have all the windy roads and freeways here in Cali
Yeah Florida roads eat up the centers of tires. 😁 Appreciate you watching and commenting
Good one 👍
Thanks
Another solid video, Haney. Just straight to the point with everything! We specifically produce LEDs for auto. Can we invite you to do a review for our product? We have emailed for an inquiry.
Thank you. I will review the proposal and get back to you.
I wonder if there is a plug terminator that could be used without cutting the wires? Nonetheless, thanks for the video on your procedure of doing it.
You could cut the wires on the switch side and twist them together if you want to keep the plug on the bikes wiring harness. Appreciate you watching and commenting
I just got one of these in spring of 23 and love this bike. I did change all my lights to LED’s (including tail tidy) put on a skid plate, seat concepts seat, Suzuki rear rack, mounted my Garmin Montana 700i gps, new footpegs, new shorty adjustable levers, acerbis hand guards, 30mm bar risers, double take enduro mirrors, and switched out the tires to Dunlop D606 front and rear. I still plan on 3x3, Barker exhaust, and either jd jet kit, or carb swap to a lectronic. But I will decide that over the winter. I know you posted this 3 months ago, so my reply is a bit late, but I hope you have been enjoying your DRZ.
Wow, you’ve done quite a lot to your DRZ. That’s awesome. My buildout will be a little slower on mine. Have a few things to do but been busy lately. I really enjoy the DRZ and it’s a great compliment to my MT-09SP. Appreciate you watching and commenting
hard panniers break legs and bikes, definitely go soft luggage. seat is fine offroad gets painful after about an hour on road. suzuki still make the drz400e it's just not legal in usa.
Thank you for the advice. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
awesome man
Thank you sir.
Fantastic video on straps application. I really loved how you showed us the use of those. Thank You!
You’re welcome. Glad it helped. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Thanks for tuto from Belgium 👍👍👍
You’re welcome. Appreciate you watching and commenting
I've tried a lot of different chain lubes over the years but, I find the Pro Honda HP Chain Lube + Moly is my favorite. My stock chain on the MT-09 is in great shape with 7K on it.
You've helped me quite a bit on mod's for my "21 MT-09. Just a coincidence I just picked up a 2005 DRZ400sm. I'll be watching more of your videos for mods on that bike! Thanks.
Glad my content is helpful. Congrats on the SM. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Quick question but think I know the answer. Asking anyway. 😂😂. You have to remove it every time you change the oil yeah? How much time does that add??? Thanks!
Yes. But it’s only a few bolts so maybe 1-2 mins in added time
Could you tell me by any chance what the diameter was for the link pipe ? The connecting point for the muffler.
I grabbed my calipers and too a measurement just ahead of the muffler. It’s 2 3/4 inches. Appreciate you watching and commenting
Amen AMEN
My first was a mini bike, 5 hp , That was my start
That's Awesome.
Nice Catch , how many ?
I think I got 7-8 that day,
My 04 kaw 1000 has two keys, and I feel there should only be one
100% agree
Hi did you have to remove the bracket/clip for the water pipe on the left side in the end please? Thanks
Remove the bolt form the engine case, rotate the clip down and slide it off the hose.
@haneymoto thank you mate so you dont reuse the clip?
@@joshb9821 I removed it. If you do want to reuse it you will have to modify the cover. But it seems fine without the clip
@haneymoto brilliant thank you mate yes it looks a solid enough hose anyway so probably will not use clip also. Appreciate your help mate 👍
I have a same bike same road6 same mileage and the tyres are so noisy now Not sure why
@@zh4418 me either. Mine are not noisy at all. Maybe have the balance checked or check the bearings
Many tires can not last 6k miles. Michelin Road 6 can do twice that
I expect to get 8-10k.
Would cost around $600 to line the drawers a 4x4 piece is $60
How big is your tool box? I was able to line the drawers in my 8 drawer toolbox with a single 4'x4' piece.
@@haneymoto I need 15x24 feet
wow. How big is your tool box? 15’ x 24’ is enough to cover 360 sq ft
@@haneymoto it's a big boy
@@johnnysprocketz I woudl say so if you need to cover over 300 sq ft.
Can’t see the wear indicators. Do these tires have them ?
There are some on the outer treads. Unfortunately in south FL I’ll develop a flat spot in the middle lone before wear out the sides of the tires
@@haneymoto Nothing in the centres ? My wear bars are about 1” apart from the centre. Just changed my rear out which is why I was surprised not to see any on yours. Maybe you’ve gone through those too and are close to the cord ? If so that’s not a sensible thing to do.
Look a little closer at 1:25
@@GodzillaGoesGaga I just watched the video again. At the 1:01 part fo the video to the right of my thumb, yo can see the wear bars.I have not reached them yet. Appreciate you feedback and advice.
@@haneymoto Got it! Yep, deep in the tread pattern I see them now. Thanks for showing me this.
