    Hi! Just a quick suggestion on Uniacke: You don't pronounce the E. Otherwise, this is one of my favourite historical houses. There's some lore surrounding the pond on the way to the home, about some drownings & hauntings. :) But yeah!

    This was my Uncle and Aunts home which I visited many times as a youth. Not impressed with the narrative but having said that it was nice to walk down memory lane when the fences and wagons and scarecrow were in great shape and used daily. My Uncle was a hard worker as were the girls as they took on the many duties that would have fallen to the boys of the home. Sadly my Uncle was not blessed with any boys. Life though did carry on. I think there was some embellishment on the layout of the history of this home. Sadly the narrator needs some lessons and put together a better presentation using fact laden facts.

    Bring! back! stained! glass! Also I am WEEPING over the fact that your only knowledge about period architecture comes from Home Alone 3. I'm glad the movie had some educational value. Goofs aside, this is a really cool look at the house! That tower is cool af, and now I'm absolutely dying to see what those books are

    • @zacharychambers6426
      @zacharychambers6426 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      that has been the thing ive noticed looking at all these houses. the books alone are a historical marvel, its great that the houses are kept in origional condition but it sucks that no one will ever read those books again
