The Falkirk Kelpies and Queen Elizabeth II canal | A @TeddyBearHikes Video voice over special
Join me and my dog @TeddyBearHikes at the Kelpies
Teddy's channel is all about no talking scenic dog walks with only sounds of nature but for todays video I am going to voice over and tell you about the Giant Kelpies and this awesome short walk along the canal.
I'm recovering from an injury so unable to do a big hike or anything overly adventures this week. So this is a completely different style of video to the norm but one I hope you will enjoy.

      I’d imagine you would get a great view looking on to it from the sea ? But yeah sadly even the beach bar we were at didn’t have a very flat or overly accessible path to it either. However there is a couple of hotels and bars before it that looks on to it (as far I remember)

    Fair enough, but surely the midges would drive anyone to insanity! I've camped as well but finding more litter and those bloody midges......

    • @Wanderingwithandy
      @Wanderingwithandy หลายเดือนก่อน

      Didn’t find the midges that bad surprisingly. Didn’t find too much litter. However a little bit is still not good enough. It’s always a problem everywhere from camping to on the trail, streets to the seas and beyond. Idiots will be idiots and litter but I always do promote leave no trace on this channel. We can all do our bit. The great outdoors and wild camping maybe the way forward. Less people less litter. Responsible people that leave no trace = no litter 👍

    "just a tree" is a living breathing being It's true the land around Hadrian's wall is beautiful. I slept in a bus shelter there years ago whilst hitchhiking from London to Scotland It was sooooo cold I snuggled up with my dog and her pups in a big coat I believe the canine body heat kept me from hyperthermia

    The person or persons who did this certainly underestimated how much love people had for the Sycamore Gap Tree, or they simply just didn't care. Either way, it was an incredibly selfish thing to do cutting down like that... :(

    its called a "distraction". look over here! look over here! get all worked up about how a symbol of your culture and tradition has been brutally cut down, but ignore the fact that your ACTUAL culture, tradition, and FREEDOM is being systematically and incrementally destroyed every day by the powers that be. you get your knickers in a knot over a tree 99% of you will never see, visit, touch... yet every single one of you is currently losing everything you hold dear without a whimper or a murmur.

    Thought at the very 1st instant of this story that it was probably a farmer annoyed at people daring to use their freedom to roam across his land. Takes a f'ing big chainsaw to cut that tree down in just 2 very straight and steady cuts. The minute anything is wrecked, we hear the cry - 'Youths - Lock 'em up!' With no evidence whatsoever. No 16 year old has wielded a large chainsaw so proficiently, that was a guy who regularly cuts down trees with much more upperbody strength. Irate farmers do some real nasty sh't!
