The ICG Lives On.
one of my favorite videos of yours. Not a lot of ICG/GM&O on here
Thanks, hopefully I'll have a new layout next year or so to make more videos. Right now it's club only videos since I'm in the process of dismantling my current layout.
Where'd you find a chop nose GP9? Are they custom?
@@sophiamadams , custom built
annoying horn
Mute it !
Thank you for sharing. WOW, fantastic catch, seems so real.👍
I do like the E-Bell.
Love The Crossing Singals!!! And I Especially Love Those Southern Railway High Hood Diesels And Bay Window Caboose!!!!!
Love Those New Crossing Signals!!!! And I Especially Live Those Southern Hi Hood SD40-2s, Radio Control Car And Bay Window Caboose. Brings Back Great Memories!!!!!
The attention to detail here is amazing. This layout was done so well it appears to be the real deal especially in the beginning
Love this video! Is that car a Chevy ?
59 Ford
Great video!
Actually thought this was real at first xD, amazing work. Mini railfanning.
Nice looking trains
They look absolutely stunning, what scale is this? Nice train by the way. Greetings from the Netherlands.
HO Scale
That is a great auto rack train you have there I saw you have one L and N auto rack car it's the same one that I have on my N scale layout
That grass looks so real! Is that what they call, "static grass"? You'd swear this was a prototypical scene.
This is the Club Layout so I'm not sure what technique or method the member used here.
Can i ask what radius and track center spacing you use on those curves? It looks good!
The radius there is 28"-30" on 2 1/2 centers
Thank you for a taste of home, if you could see the grin on my face!
Man ! Like the train, remember those days when I was kid seeing the real thing running out of VA. Nice !
Erie Lackawanna liked big power as they handled lots of coal and autoparts. And, they were aggressive about new markets. They got a good contract to haul UPS trailers and the got lots of faltering Penn Central's business. Had it not been for Hurricane Agnes, they might have pulled through. They wanted to join Chessie System but Chessie balked at the EL's more generous Union contracts and the deal collapsed.
Thank you for this video, it's something I've been looking for, for a very long time. It shows how much room you need to model a railroading scene such as this.
Beautiful railroading scene. No double stacks full of Chinese-made crap. No ugly wide cab locomotives. Cabooses on every train. You'll forgive me, won't you Matt, if I should decide to pass on the Conrail stuff??? Was never a fan of post-1976 eastern railroading.
Hmmm. No train derailment here.
OOHHH, look!! A FAMILY reunion.
I trust there will be no rails-to-trails conversion on this layout to accurately reflect the bike trail the Adair loop has become.
I,m a retired ups mechanic. Use to work on those drop frame z boxes. Also. Grew up with east dover siding 1000 feet from my house. Would run down and catch cs 9 whenever i heard the dynamic brake howl. Great job you did !!!
Was that a cnj hack n the back ? Very well done !!!!
Yep, Proto 2000. Not 100% accurate but they look fantastic for the $$$

BEAUTIFUL
Love Those Southern SD-40-2s, The Radio Reliever Car And The Southern Bay Window Caboose!!!!!
More Like N&W Sunday There Were Two N&W SD-40-2s And A SD-45 Behind The Southern Sd-40-2 And A N&W Bay Window Caboose At The End.
Love The Sight Of Those Great Looking Southern Hi Hood SD 40-2s.
man seriously…
Love your Channel. You got some Great Taste in Railroad Lines. Just Subbed. Jebb
Super Fantastic layout🏅🏆👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I enjoyed your video. One question, did you belong to the triangle and western model railroad road. I know a young Mat, years ago
I’m a current member of the Coshocton, Ohio club. I’m also technically still a member of the Cambridge and Zanesville clubs but had to take a leave of absence from them because I work when they meet. Never heard of the club you mentioned
Sweet -- the front end power looks great
Looks good -- just like the CX-99 in the other video
Looked like a nice long pig train -- nice to see CX-99 again
What was the music? 👍
Some free music that’s on TH-cam’s Video editor studio
Some interesting loads on those freights. Too bad there were never any Chessie F units painted in the yellow, orange and blue modern scheme (one of the best schemes in contemporary railroading).
I just saw $ signs after the first 3 autoracks passed by! If you could even find that many vehicles now, you'd have to get a loan to pay for them.LOL
Believe it or not most of those VW's are from Walmart when they sold Malbu International 1:87th vehicles and cost less than $3/each.
@@CHESSIESYSTEM1985 I guess that was at a time when I was not looking for 1/87 vehicles.
@@ronatwell5379 , probably around 2003-2005 is when I collected most of them. Probably hit every Walmart in Columbus and Southern Ohio looking for them
@@CHESSIESYSTEM1985Yes, that was a time when we were remodeling our house, working 49 hrs/wee, and farming on the side. No time for modeling railroading in those yrs.
WOW! What year did the UPS trailers begin to appear on TOFC?
Awesome, I model the ic & gm&o around the Jackson Tennessee area, 1958-1971 era
💓
SD50' DID make some awesome horsepower, at 3600hp. EMD later pumped them up to 3800hp, and this move exacerbated problems with these locomotives, according to Wikipedia. The SD60 looks identical, as far as I can see, and they were quite good locomotives.
