I think Sea of Stars is overall more accessible to people who aren’t long time turn based rpg. I played sea of stars to completion and then tried to play chained echos and couldn’t get into it. I’m sure chained echos is probably the better rpg once you full experience every thing they have to offer but for me the differences in the visual presentation is what pulled me in to sea of stars and what blocked me from getting into chained echos

It is turn-based RPG not turned-base RPG like you keep saying. It is based on taking turns you are not turning the base of the game lol.

Speaking about sales ,Chained echoes was on xbox game pass on launch if I'm not wrong, loved the game. Not sure about Sea of stars cuz I tried demo and didnt like it (to linear, my brain was shutting down^^), so I didn't bother with it any longer.

Chained echoes all day, sea of star combat fall flat on the 2 half of the game meanwhile every battle on chained echoes is a puzzle to solve. And the history is peack until the end.

I really enjoyed Sea of Stars but understand the shortcomings of it being a bit safe and bland. I have Chained Echoes but haven’t played it yet so hopefully this video will bump it up my queue.
