Noordbrook
Germany

beautiful PEDALBOARD made of Cherry

When you start playing guitar, you don’t need more than a guitar and an amp. But one day you buy your first pedal. And you fall in love with. Then you get yourself another one. And another one. And another one. All the sudden you end up with half a dozen pedals, laying on the floor. Cables crossing all over the place, with guitarist continuously stumbling over it. Yeah that happened a lot to me...
I built my own SOFTBOXES for filmmaking - Just a DIY PROTOTYPE
I built my own Softboxes for filmmaking. Cause I wasn't sure about what I need and if it will turn out the way, I wanted it to be, this is just the video dokumentation of me designing a PROTOTYPE. Yes there are things I don't like about it. But for now, it works pretty good. So stay tuned to see me building the "real" Softboxes. This is not a guide. Working with electronics is dangerous.

Can a DIY-KIT BASS be any GOOD? - Let's build a relic bass.
I got asked, if a DIY-Kit Bass or Guitar could be an alternative for people who want to build their own instrument, but do not have the time or knowledge to do. So I checked it out and build myself (another) Instrument. Join me on that journey and discuss my conclusion in the comments.

I made this quick and easy Bottle Drying Rack. It's a low or now cost project made of materials I had laying around. Exept the glueing time it took me less than half an hour. Enjoy.

Hey, I am Johannes and I am a maker. And although I am Not a maker by trade, there is not a single day in my life, where I don’t do anything with my own hands. I grew up in a family of makers. My parents had a company that produced handmade wooden toys for children. My dad is a carpenter. So most things I remember from my earliest childhood, is me playing with different types of Wooddust and al...

DANKE !
This may be 5 years old but its still a great help to some of us...eg me!..... thanks👍
What was that product you used on the body and the pickguard? Great job!!!
Why "relic"?
Turn the music OFF when you are talking.
Thanks for the time and effort you’ve put into this video! It was very helpful to me 👍 @makita Give this guy some credit
No playing sample? How disappointing.
Just a small tip: don't check the bow of the jack in flat possible, it needs to be checked in playing position :)
What a beautiful restoration. The work is incredible but it was worth doing it to this gem of a guitar. Congratulations
Thanks. It definently was

Nice! I've tried a few kits I bought from Amazon, mostly as mod platforms. I just kept the body and made all custom basses for less than 1k USD each.
Sounds great :) I should finally start to modify mine
Just a note that if you, to use a random example, are cutting a too-small piece of oak and it gets violently jammed into the saw you must redo all of these adjustments 🙄
Tnx a lot. It was just what I needed and now I can do straight cuts again.
Super, Dankeschön, gut erklärt und gezeigt, Beste Grüße
I've built a bass from a Thomann (Harley Benton) Pbass kit for a good friend, and I was (am) absolutely surprised at the feel and sustain! The only thing I did replace immediately, was the pickup, as I had an old but very nice fat & juicy pickup gathering dust in a drawer... It sounds amazing, even borrowed it to use it on a recording! 😎👍 I'm definitely going to build another one this summer, purely for myself this time - got an old active EMG P pickup with controls too... It's going to be a scorcher.
good video
Danke, sehr gut erklärt in einer ruhigen Art 😊👍
Danke!
Flat-sawn necks are fine if the wood is properly dried out. However, a quarter-sawn laminated neck with a dual action truss rod and reinforcement bars will of course always be more stable
Quarter-sawn is a rip-off. I've seen big chunky D profile quartersawn necks warping and I've seen a 14 years old never set never trussrod engaged Squier neck, flat sawn and thin C profile who had no issues.
Super Video !!!

I would wait until all strings are tuned before setting intonation because the neck usually flexes a bit under tension. Nice guitar!
That's what I usually do. Thanks for the hint. I hope I'll remember to mention that in the next video
Great video for education
Wow, really amazing video. One of my favorite guitars. 👍
That's great to hear. I've shot some more Guitar Repair/Clean Up Videos. Coming out soon. Would You be interested in watching me talking a little bit more in depth about this instrument? E.g. What Woods were used, how it sounds, looking at the wiring?
@noordbrook Sure, that would be great.
Cool. I will give my very best to get the video done as soon as possible
I don’t seem to be able to rewind ( ie go back ) on you tube any more ? Anyone else have this prob ..
Do you watch via Smartphone/Tablet or PC/Mac?
Sehr gutes Video und fachlich einwandfrei.
Freut mich, danke!
Very helpful thank you
Just found this and my saw was way out so thanks
Thanks for the help.
Yes a good video, I took mine a bit further and spend a couple of hours pulling it apart and deburring all machined surfaces/edges with my needle files and a fine stone. Now all moving parts are so smooth, it feels like a $2000 saw, well worth the effort.
That's a brilliant idea. Should have done that to mine. But I decided to sell it in November last year.
Thank you. That was a truly informative and helpful video. We'll explained. To the point. And I thought you repeating the need to unplug was seriously spot on. Those blades are beasts. I really appreciate your effort. It will come in handy when I go to adjust mine. Well done 👍
Wow.

73K views... Seems like I'm not the only one struggling with adjusting my LS1018L. Thanks a lot for the instructions !!!
Danke.
Vielen Dank
Thank you for this great tutorial. I find that if i make cuts with waste on the right side of the blade they are usually square but if i put waste on the left side they are not. I'm not sure what to do in this situation since it's all one piece and they cannot be adjusted individually.
Cost of machine pls
Thanks a lot for your comprhensive video. I was wondering if you edited one about troubleshooting such as the jammed press button to release the bevel cut angle or the octogonal key in the back that doesn't tighten the chosen angle.
Good explanation (even though English is not his first language) from a gracious man - thank you.
Super Video, vielen Dank
