@@DarkSupaNinja That's what difficulty options are for. Now there's people going through Master Ninja doing double damage or getting elixir heals from a blue orb. Muddles the experience entirely.

@@javiermontaque683 it’s because the dark dragon blade was not at full power and didn’t have the seal broken.

@@DarkSupaNinja I would love to see what Doku would transform into if he broke the seal . If it turned Maurai into that thing imagine what it would turn Doku into and hes already a Greater Fiend

@@DarkSupaNinja god i love this game too much, the bosses are hard but fun, i like the LOA Mechagodzilla wannabe boss fight too much because it has the 2nd phase theme AKA Sidewinder

@@Dt-2030 my favorite boss is the doppelgänger ryu since he has ryu abilities. Ng3re was fun and I played the vanilla version alot. The master collection is just watered down but still is a great challenge to some people.

@@HellBreaker Those people do not know what they’re talking about. Ask any karma runner if they think Sigma is a good game and they will tell you yes.

"How can you look at a game that's meant to be extremely challenging (and was so in the original directed intended version) being reduced to an absolute cakewalk where normally extremely difficult fights are reduced to 3 second glorified cutscene battles and call it bad?" I don't even dislike Sigma. I think it's quite good. However, the introduction of things like the Grip or Murder and Azure helmet to the master collection, allowing players to stack extreme damage and absolutely trivialize what were intended to be very difficult encounters, is not what I would call a positive impact on the game. Being able to say that you "beat" Ninja Gaiden means a lot less when you were using items that didn't even exist in Black, and were purely added to the Master Collection due to Koei not caring at all about preserving the original intention of the Itagaki's vision, which drastically, DRASTICALLY reduce the difficulty of even the Master Ninja difficulty. I'm not trying to be insulting towards you, but for you to discredit anyone with legitimate concerns over originally intended game balance and imply that any concerns are no more than bad jokes due to the video looking cool or whatever isn't really fair in the slightest.

X,forward Y(hold), Y for Xbox Square, forward triangle (hold), triangle for PlayStation. I believe these are the combos because it been so long since I played.

You get the wooden sword from muramsa for 500 essence or by finding golden scarabs depending on the difficulty you playing. After that you have to upgrade the wooden sword for 7 times or about 110,000 essence to get the unlabored flawlessness.

@@DarkSupaNinja dude do you have to skimp out on other upgrades to get the 110k? Playing through it now and I’m trying to find a way to get more essence

@@stackthatartpaper you can still upgrade other weapons as you play through. I think some chapters has certain amounts of essence you can use on the wooden sword to upgrade it.

Both versions is easy in the master collection. The vanilla version makes them much harder. Still easy though once you figure out how to fight them. You can kill both versions of clone ryu just by countering them.
