My pleasure - and... Agreed! I couldn't find anything when I was looking either.

Do you by chance have a vid on adjusting the valve clearances for this model?

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I have not yet had to do that type of work on my machine. If/when I do, I will definitely document it. Up next there is some strange noises coming from the rear of the vehicle - will need to investigate and likely capture what I needed to do for that.

I want to thank you SO much for your very much needed video as my Dad and I were going just nuts trying to find the oil plug on our 2001 Gator. We were on a mission today to do oil changes on both our John Deere lawn mower and John Deere Gator. And, just wow. Where the heck is the drain plug??!! Your video provided us with much needed guidance. Karen Reynolds Humphries

That's great! I'm very happy the video was helpful and kept you moving on your maintenance - I've been there (almost the exact same situation). Appreciate the feedback. My goal is to 'give back' where I can, as relevant TH-cam content has been a game changer for me while doing lots of difference projects.

I think you just saved my day! Last time I did this you had to pull the flywheel and I was ready to load my mower up on the trailer but now I am going to pick up 2 new coil packs first thing in the morning. My x370 is down on power so pulled the plugs and one smelled like gas and the other was clean. Removed the spark wire from the "dead" side and engine still fired up. Reversed the process and it wouldn't start....hope the coils packs fixes it!! I have 570 hours on my mower...

this was great and exactly what I needed for my tractor....my x324 us very similar. The only step that could have been added is to test which of the magneto's are bad. But I think I got this.

This definitely helped. I don't know if I would have found the oil drain without this!! LOL

Just found your video. My JD X320 has the same fly wheel cover as yours does. The 3 screws on top are on so tight that we can’t get them off and, of course, they are now stripped out. Any suggestions? We’ve oiled, Blasted, etc., but haven’t tried heat. I would hate to have to drill them out because of the small metal pieces falling into the fly wheel and who knows where else. Do they unscrew clockwise or counterclockwise? It’s very frustrating. Thanks for making this video. It’s the closest I’ve come to addressing this issue.

I stripped all three out. I had to drill out. I used a small bit and was able to turn them out by hand.

Thanks very much! I am pretty sure I will need to replace my lawn tractor's ignition circuit. Beautifully done with great attention to the important details!

That was a very nice job. I'm surprised that there are no comments. It isn't that easy making these how to videos for folks.

Thanks! Making sure to keep things clear without rushing or inadvertently skipping a detail can be a challenge.
