Just bc it’s a trend, doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s different for everyone, bc i too have 4c hair, and the teal brush you have can’t detangle my hair and caused a lot of my hair to get ripped out. (That teal brush was also trendy too when it came, and much pricier at the time). The Unbrush however works good for me all i need to do is to spray my hair lightly with water, or little put a moisturizer with slip… but my miracle find was an Unbrush knockoff i found on amazon, which actually costed me more (I got the Unbrush as a free promotion, i just paid s&h), and it works beautifully for me!!! Now detangling my entire head takes a few minutes, where before it would take more hours, sometimes days, bc my hair gets tangled sooooo easily especially during washing. Everyone is different. Find what works for you. It took 37 years and a lotttt of hair breakage and loss to finally find something that doesn’t make brushing/detangling/parting my hair an all day long process. It’s also less painful now, and I finally have minimal, and i do mean minimal hair loss. Trendy stuff isnt always a bad thing. Sometimes you can find an improvement to your life
