Marine Science In The Bible
-
About Science Behind the Bible: At Science Behind the Bible, we explore how science and the Bible go hand in hand. If you’ve ever wondered, “Is God real?” or looking for proof that God is real, you’re in the right place. We discuss how science aligns with biblical teachings and tackle important questions like who created God and whether Jesus is real. We aim to connect scientific knowledge with biblical truths, offering perspectives that can resonate with everyone whether you’re a believer, agnostic, or simply curious. Here, you can learn fascinating facts about God, discover Bible stories that align with science, and better understand what God is and how God is good.

About Me: Hi, I’m Taylor! I’m a Christian and science enthusiast who loves combining my passion for both science and the Bible. My fascination with science began at four years old with a love for aquariums, and I’ve been hooked on marine science ever since. With hopes of becoming a “sea lion trainer,” I’ve been lucky enough to experience some amazing things like participating in a research cruise, attending a harbor seal release, and even joining a Trainer For A Day program at my local aquarium.

From Sea Lions to Saved: Exposing the Subtle Idols We Don’t See
มุมมอง 6วันที่ผ่านมา
For years, I unknowingly idolized animals and the trainers who worked with them, pouring my heart into something that was never meant to be a substitute for God. Our sinful nature constantly pulls us toward the created things instead of the Creator, and idolatry can slip into our lives quietly and without warning. In this episode, I’ll share my journey from idolizing animals and people to disco...

    You know what else is amazing, spinal deformation was documented almost 1800 years before the Gospel of Luke. Medicine is far older than people same to realize. Even Hippocrates famous for the Hippocratic oath that doctors take, as born almost 600 years before the Gospel of Luke was written. It seems a bit weird to ascribe some special status to what was even then, common knowledge, that sometimes people had deformed spines.

    I'm...not entirely sure what point you're trying to make about the first claimed miracle. You're describing a situation that involves more than 2 fish. If there's tons of fish floating in the sea, then it's not 2 fish.

    Idgaf. You can't explain away miracles. Can't. I've seen them, First hand. Good and bad miracles. One day I nearly wrecked, got stuck in a turnrow, and was yelling and shouting and cussing at God , as it was thanksgiving, which I don't support and didn't want to go, so I was angry stuck trying to go where I didn't want to. A black truck comes down the road. Had chains at the ready. 2 men and a woman, Never even said hello. Pulled up, got my truck on the road, loaded up, and left. Miracle if you ask me. Angels upset at me, still doing gods will. Also on a job around midnight, I got a call a drag conveyor had locked up. In the upward side of this conveyor, we had to cut the conveyor open, and we found a chunk of metal larger than the conveyor itself. And to have gotten in the upward side, and UNDER the drag chain, it first had to have gone through a hammer mill, which powders grains into a DUST, the dust is then carried up this drag conveyor. When I say chunk of metal, I mean 7 inches thick, and 3 x 4 feet wide and long. That's a 2 ft wide drag. I have 176 Iq score. And I'll tell you, science fails. It always fails. It always falls short. We made quantum physics due to the double slit experiment showing we didnt know what we thought. As it always was, and will be.

      Nope! Sharks are older than trees! The earliest evidence of shark fossils dates back 450 million years, which is at least 90 million years before the first trees.

    don't know who this girl is but there is also a prophetic choosing, or gift among God for prophecy. we are all supposed to help him forward his will on earth, you're right he can use any of us. but there are some he's elected to carry out his will in this specific way. like old testament judges, there are people like this today where this is their main job in the body.

    • @sciencebehindthebible
      @sciencebehindthebible 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I know it’s a gift, but I have a slight disagreement. I think the Holy Spirit gives the gifts, and I believe that some people are naturally more gifted in this area than others. I don’t think it’s a new revelation style!

    well, scripture is FULL of examples of God talking to people and they knew it was God. There's definitely no verse that says God WON'T talk to you outside of scripture. "His sheep hear His voice". The Spirit will "lead us into all truth". His Spirit "bears witness" with our Spirit.

  • @shelbymiller8197
    @shelbymiller8197 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

    This is possible. "My sheep hears my voice" John 10:17. Also, if God was able to speak to the men who wrote the scriptures, he can speak to us today. And everything written there is in scripture.

    I’m personally not religious it just doesn’t make sense to me as god is said to be able to do anything and there is nothing he can’t do but it just is logically impossible because if he tries to create something he can’t lift then he can’t lift it which is something he can’t do but if he can’t make it that’s also something he can’t do and people normally just say that’s how he is in the bible not real life i still don’t believe in him and the bible (which in my opinion is racist sexist and homophobic) however i do have respect for anyone of any religion ❤

    The rational is that God having created the heavens and the Earth has set them in their ways, I.e. He set them up to have consistency, which science tests. what good is a world where dropping an ice cube cause the water to instantly freeze then vaporize then not react at all. There'd be no way to trust our senses or what we perceived. Issac Newton, Johannes Kepler, Galileo Galilei are among the most well-known but by no means the only ones. Christiandom allowed scientific studies to flourish and established the basis for all western civilizations.

    Why am I skeptical about the Bible? The Bible was written in a time where scientific knowledge was low, literacy rates where abysmal, education was almost non existent, And most people were pretty ignorant and believed in all sorts of nonsense. Who wrote it, when and where and under what conditions are lost to history. The original copies are lost to history, we only have fragments of copies made from the original events that happened in said time. The stories were not passed via text but oral traditions, in which errors or deliberate exaggerations are sure to happen. Most if not all of the Bible is copied from other myth stories at the time. Many events from the Bible could never take place, such as the flooding from Noah’s ark, and there was no mass exodus. Moses and Noah is practically characters stitched up from other people at the time. The morals painted from the 613 laws are abysmal ending in death by stoning for almost every offense, do not contain equal treatment for the sexes and non Jewish people, and have a cast system for the priest required. (Levites/Aaronic) Not a single one of these laws seem to be anything other than man made and in no way reflect a grand designer or loving deity that made them. Jesus’s sayings are not wise, unclear, and sometimes outright dangerous (don’t worry about washing hands!) parts of the Bible are referenced and missing( book of Enoch, book of jasher,) and parts of the Bible are seem to have added latter, some keep them, others do not, (John 7:53-8:11), (Mark 16:9-20) The books 1 and 2 of John… other books are under dispute books of Eccslaiates and Song of Solomon and revelation.. and you have the deuerocanonial books.
