[⫸EDIT: Correction-- The foundation for the collab pizza was a basic cheese pizza with no additional topping, so the segment 0:58-1:08 is misleading. Sorry! No other pizza pictures were shown on stream, so I made an erroneous assumption thinking they only ordered 1 pizza. But they did in fact get two!! (cheese pizza, and "angus beef" pizza). ⫷] Since the source video is privated, I'm limited in what I can do with this material. I'd love to show video/use audio from the stream because they had a great time (I don't think it's private for any other reason than: it's old). But this video should be enough to answer what's up with the pizza, and how it came about. More things that happened in the stream: The rice cracker bag exploded when they took turns punching it (to grind it all to dust) blasting it all over the floor in Flare's room... it was supposed to be a fine powder, but it got too difficult to grind with a opened bag. Korone and Miko had misunderstood the assignment and thought they were only adding stuff to their own slices, not everyone's. Korone kept apologizing over and over for her potatoes. Miko was panicking as the Karashi was spread out thick like peanut-butter by the others. They drizzled some of Pekora's microwave chicken curry on the pizza, but it was so watery they decided it was better as a dip sauce. The rice crackers are called "Happy Turn" and are flavoured with "happy powder"... yeah... this bag has 250% of it... Pekora got a ton of rice cracker dust in her nose while eating. Flare asks "but does the powder make you happy?", Pekora: "Not like this, no!" Flare did re-take a better photo with filters etc. but decided to only post the initial "bad" picture anyway because it had such "in-your-face energy" (and it was funny). Failing led to a punishment game of bitter green juice. Marine got bullied into drinking the juice, but after a lot of panicking it turned out they had purchased a brand that made really tasty green vegetable juice... Suddenly everyone wanted to try it!

Yeah, live translation is a bit much of an ask, and besides the stated reason of it being super difficult, I also believe that creating clips and translating them lets more people see the translation. A live translation just up and disappears in chat (and can be seen again if you watch the stream later), but clips have on average more interesting content and the subtitles appear right when the characters are saying what they say, so I'd say a live translation is not really a meaningful endeavor for anyone interested in unterstanding what these girls are saying. It's just meaningless hard work, isn't it? Clipping is so much better and more rewarding.

bit late with this comment but subaru's introduction of flare at 0:22 might be my subconscious reason for her becoming my eventual oshi when she flew under my radar initially during my rabbit hole initiation xd, like think bout it the good ole jack of all trades thingy but if a jack of trades is being 7/10 at everything flare seems to be a 9.5 in general aspects of vtubing e.g. great singer, great gamer, great chat interaction, great comedic timing(naturally transitions and back and forths between butt of the joke or being straight man in collab comedic moments), blends well with others and the list just goes on and on and on.

Flare is such a sweetheart. I genuinely hope she gains courage to speak to more overseas members as I think many of them will be happy if she just talk to them or ask them out. As someone who use to work with people from various countries, most people are happy when you try to speak their language, some will even find it cute or exciting to teach you. Personally I think often the barrier is less of the language but the fear of offending the other party and feeling awkward for not knowing what is deemed to be acceptable and not as every country will have different culture and jokes.Once you learn to come to terms with feeling awkward and with halted communication usually it becomes easier to mix with people from various backgrounds.

she's smart, i wouldn't be able to stop myself playing for fun. My girlfriend is the same, not with games but other things that are addictive like unhealthy foods, she avoids whatever it is totally because she knows she won't be able to stop.

Goodness gracious- that feels like the same kind of obsession that leads to finding corpses in net cafes that died of starvation/thirst/exhaustion. I hope she has been taking care of herself better. HoloGTA is such an amazing event and its sad that we won't see Flare in it. Even Ore no Ina participating! But health going first. Of course she could play short sessions like 1-3 hours long and PvP is not necessary. For example restaraunt business not about PvP. But if she has medical problems maybe taking a short break will be good decision?

I just want her to have fun without putting her health on the line, glad she's doing just that.

I do wish we'd gotten Flare in HololiveGTA IRyS, Ina, Anya, Aki, and Luna from collabs. All of 3rd Gen, Shiraken (minus Polka), along with Bakatare. I'm sure she would have been a natural fit, but I'm glad we got to see her adventures in HoloArk earlier this Summer. Hope she feels better soon!

I like that Flare is mindful of what games she plays. It was the same as with Among Us.

If she played, I can imagine she would be the hero that jump in front of bullets to save her friends. Why? Because Her Ina will be in the ambulance crew.
