This film is during the summer and winter of 2024. This year we decided not to do many activities during the holidays. Instead we spent time at home and had great appetite to eat out together most of the time. So, this film presents us spending time together locally around the community.
I definitely feel more comfortable at editing now. As I was editing this film I've learned more about the davinci resolve program (editing software) and introduced myself to color grading. Certainly is pretty difficult to understand at first, so here in this video is my first attempt at it. Also, I bought myself a stabilizer for my camera and made use of it too.
As for the cherry on top on this film, I continued to use wave to earth music as my soundtrack as well as some other soundtrack from a few of my favorite anime films by RADWIMPS. Why not, I love them both. Thanks to them for their magical melodies.
I've started to create these films as an annual time capsule of my family where we may perhaps spend more time together in a different state or even a country as we were originally from California. Anyways, I hope you enjoy watching.
