1. let them know you're on to them 2. remain completely non-reactive (refuse to engage/fight back) 3. radical honesty (fun fact: Truth carries a 1000x higher vibrational frequency than a lie ever will - WOW! i never knew that this can also be backed with science) that's awesome! 4. treat them with indifference 5. rejection (they fear rejection) - when you show them that their opinion has 0 sway over you. 6. exposure - put them on the spot in front of others 7. unfavourable comparison - shine a light on their unfavourable traits, by being sincere 8. ignore them - in doing so, you highlight the fact that you are dealing with an entitled emotional toddler, in an adults body, who is suffering from egotistical delusions of grandeur (lmao! never heard it described so well!!!) 9. get happy 10. establish and maintain no contact - absolute and complete detachment

I am divorcing my covert narcissist husband of 31 yrs. My divorce will be final July 9th . I was deathly ill for a decade, on a feeding tube and yadda yadda. I’m regaining my health. It’s difficult but I’m glad to be getting away from him …. For good. I have a criminal protection order against him for 3yrs for assaulting me Dec 5th. Fuck that 😢

Yes. One of the best write ups I have read or seen on line, and I have read/viewed many, very concise and to the point, and I am enjoying and searching for more of your work. You described everything that I am going through. And yes going no contact is not easy and painful, and as an empath, i sensed this even though I have completely gone dark, and have to deal with these issues and move on. It hurts, and some how I really feel that she can still physically and even mentally reap and feed off me from a distance unless I can finally find a way to let it all go and move on. Do others sense this? That the narcissist, can feed on us from a distance? Even going no contact? But another reason to find a way to let go. Regardless, I spent my whole life doing for others, and I am also “Codependent,” a perfect “Supply” for a Covert Narcissist, and the fool I that I was with was just too stupid to see what she had. Her thanks for what I did for her got less and less over time until it became totally meaningless, and she thought that I would never leave……that is until see finally cheated on me, and I had moved on. Totally drained. I am now doing my best to turn these empathetic abilities I have back on, and heal myself instead of others as I have done my whole life. It is not easy. I am having to learn how to do this. I have shut myself off alone in my home to try to find myself. Being around others is totally draining. But I am very positive that I can come out of this a much better, stronger, and healed person, and just getting this out here online to vent is making a huge difference. Thank You! Oh....I am also very tired of TH-cam Videos and comments on TH-cam Videos that talk about ways of getting back on a narcissist. Enough already. Take some responsibility as I have for what you have done. I am just as much at fault. I saw the redflags for a very long time and ignored them. Move on. Do NOT EVER try to ever get back on or blame anyone. It is not healthy, and you will never be able to fully heal, and in doing this, you are playing right into their hands. So please if you can, DO NOT provide negative comments here blaming anyone or the narcissist. One of the best ways to heal is to see the mistakes that WE have made. These WE can control. Well done, and I agree 100%. The only thing that I found however, is that the TRUTH to a narcissist means absolutely nothing. A no win situation. They only see the world in black and white. In my last meeting with my lady friend, I just took the blame for everything she attacked me. Truth be damned. Even if she was totally gaslighting. To her I was totally at fault, and she shook her head in agreement every time I took the blame. But in so doing, it gave her no where to go. So there was no fight, and she totally felt that she had won. I then ended the relationship, she agreed.....probably with her even knowing what she had done. She let her Number One source off Supply go without a fight. Dumb. I then blocked all my social media, and phone, and now hoping that she will just up and disappear. 🤞 I have had enough.

Yes, sometimes its like insulation & i look at it as shock absorbancy. But i dont like it & makes me feel suffocated at times with an over abundance of stuff i need to get rid of & clean up. I do clean it up, get rid of & organize it. It will build up again if i dont stay right on top of it. Going no contact from the narc has helped the most. Thanks❤
