Great question! ProPilot disengages when the indicator stalk is used and reengages once you're back in your lane. The driver is responsible for completing the overtaking maneuver. It's actually much easier to experience than to explain-it feels natural once you try it, leaving the driver feeling like they are in full control at all times.

@riaj_online i think it is the standard interior as its going through with motability. Originally i was wanting it in white and this was before the redesign but as soon as i saw the ocean deep then my mind was made up for the colour itself

@@ruelsky69 It really depends on what you're looking to get out of your car. For me, the ride feels compliant and assured, which is important because I want something that handles well and stays composed on the motorway. I think the fact that the suspension and drivetrain are tested by the UK design team helps it feel better suited to our roads compared to competitors with softer setups. That said, it all comes down to your priorities. I personally drive the hybrid version, which I find offers plenty of power (143bhp) along with excellent fuel economy. The 1.0 3-cylinder version lacks the same immediate response, but it still delivers on quality, offering a well-appointed, stylish interior and great ride comfort.

I would hope its just Epower models , from Nissan UK website configurator: "Please note that due to specification changes, the Tekna e-POWER version images may not be accurate as the glossy black bumper is being replaced by a grained black bumper and the standard interior trim becoming black without brown linings."

@@riaj_online Interesting, thanks. I just checked their website and for the "DIG-T 158 Mild Hybrid" Tekna model you can only choose the brown interior. I was hoping the black interior was going to be available for both the e-POWER and the Mild Hybrid Tekna models, but looks like that's not the case :(

and I was beginning to get used to it... the black interior is so much nicer. Burnt Umber is still available for those that want that extra excrement* sorry excitement

However, we do have some vehicles currently in build that will be available sooner. For example, an L3H2 D150 Auto 9-speed Tekna in Agave Blue is set to arrive in late January. @@edwinhuanay3177 Unfortunately, no, the 2024 Interstar is only available in front-wheel drive, similar to most of its competitors. However, the advantages typically associated with rear-wheel drive are well represented in this model. It has a much improved turning circle, upgraded steering rack, and a strong overall package. Plus, with a 2.5-ton towing capacity and features like trailer sway assist, side wind assist, and the new 1-box braking system, it’s definitely worth trying out before deciding on another brand for rear-wheel drive.

It’s a door protector. All our cars come with them-typically installed by the factory before delivery. They act as soft pads to prevent door damage during loading, storage, and parking near other vehicles.

@@pijjintvhd9872 Yes, the majority are taped on. For certain models, we do require drilling, but the Qashqai’s tailgate generally holds up well with the tape we use, and we haven’t encountered any issues.

@@ievadovyde4966 As part of regulations, the system is set to re-engage on startup. However, in the Qashqai, it only takes two button presses on the steering wheel to return to your preferred setup. During handover, we offer a familiarization drive, and based on customer feedback, I’ll set the ISA to your preference. After that, you’ll only need to press those two buttons on startup-quick and easy!

@@mussinata8133 Thanks for the feedback! You're right - the 20” wheels on the N-Design and Tekna+ really do benefit from the 5-point multi-link rear suspension. It’s always crucial to take a test drive and make sure the route includes the types of roads you'll be driving on regularly.

@@markm49 I had the pre-facelift model with the mild hybrid CVT, and it was a great car with a smooth transmission. The 158hp is solid, and with the mild hybrid battery assisting during startups, it feels fantastic. You do need to get used to anticipating stops better to take full advantage of the advanced stop-start system, which can shut off the engine as low as 11 mph and seamlessly restart when you're ready to go. It’s a proper start-stop system with no noticeable lag. I’m sure you’ll be happy with it!

@@jamaz1973 Great question! The protection pack includes a trunk liner, mats, and front and rear mudguards (the mudguards go behind the tires, if that helps clarify). You're right-the Tekna in the video, which doesn't have the alloy inserts, had just come off the transporter and hadn't been prepped yet.

@@dionnephillips7857 Unfortunately, the N-Connecta doesn't have heated seats, but it does come with a 2-way electric lumbar adjustment for the driver, which is great! You'll need to step up to the Tekna trim for heated seats.

N-Connecta does have heated front seats.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Burnt Umber might not be everyone's taste, but it's great that Nissan offers two options with the N-design and Tekna sister grades. There's something for everyone-hopefully, one of the other choices will be more to your liking!

@@riaj_online they say it’s apart of the EU safety standards but we are not a part of the EU . The lane assist might be ok for the motorways but on little side streets it’s unsafe as you have cars parked at the sides of the roads and you have to drive down the centre . Which the lane assist wants to move you back over into the cars . Not just on Nissans on most new cars

@@Terrapin519 Yes, it became a regulation in July/August, but we’ve made it easy to switch off the settings you don’t want with just two button presses on the steering wheel.

@@robbieyoung690 I understand your point, but it really depends on how frequently you plan to use it. I’d be happy to take you on a test drive and show you how I can use the system for over 50% of the drive since I’m familiar with it and most roads here have a speed limit of 30-50 mph. The system is excellent for following traffic at speeds below 45 mph, but I agree-ProPilot really shines at speeds above 45 mph.

I’m about to get the Nissan juke now-connecta does this have the same features?

@ yes the Qashqai nconnecta now has pro pilot built in, a fantastic addition for the spec. Congrats on your purchase and I hope you enjoy it

@ Unfortunately, the Juke nconnecta grade has yet to receive ProPILOT, you can get ProPILOT on the Juke Tekna and above but you do miss out on propilot parking

@@blb2022 Should also point out: This video highlights the latest UK-spec ProPilot system, classified as Level 2 autonomous capability. ProPilot 2.0, classed as level 3 autonomous capability which allows for full hands-off driving, is already available in regions outside of the UK. However, the UK government is making progress towards integrating self-driving vehicles, as outlined in the King's Speech this year. @@riaj_online My my 2022 qashqai slows down as i approach roundabouts and the bends in the road and also it's got all the features that you showed about and traffic jams etc 👍

@@riaj_online will this system let you drive completely hands-free ? Because I know on my current qashqai I can take my hands off the steering wheel for about 5 seconds or so before I need to tap or hold the steering wheel again before all the warning systems kicks in. Thanks for a great video. 👍
