A little time lapse from the trail camera. There were so many slugs because of all the rain we have had. The night footage is always black and white from the trail cameras. I added the blue and pink filter in hope to show the slugs better and make it more interesting. Just experimenting. thanks for stopping by.

We have been hearing a horrible sound coming from the woods behind our house. It has been going on for years and I had never seen anything on camera showing the cause. We thought it was fisher cat but I never saw one on camera. If you watch closely you can see the coyote in the back making the sound. My grandpa died almost six years ago now and recently while cleaning out my room to pack up for college I came across a small camera bag with one of these, a mini DVD, and a brand new pair of an SD and micro SD card inside. I haven't seen it since he was sick and decided to divvy up some of his things between the grandkids. I complete forgot I owned it. I'm rather interested in video creation now as a hobby or potential career, so imagine my surprise to remember grandpa giving me this and just maybe helping kickstart something in me, all these years later. I wasn't sure how the footage would look from it and I don't have a computer, but seeing this video showed me that this must have been the camera he used for holidays, because it looks like the old family movies. Long story short, thank you for bringing a bit of my grandpa back with this video by tying together some loose ends for me. I hope you and yours are well and that you find a way to put that camera to use. ❤

Hi, sorry I just noticed your comment. I did not get any notice for your comment. Mine came with a special cord, not like any other cord I have. If it has a removable battery you maybe able to get a charger for it on Ebay or Amazon.

Looks like a pretty nice community with quite a few shops as well as houses and apartments, and seems MUCH better than Waterbury. A lot cleaner and more peaceful looking. It looks more developed than I expected, and more urban.

I just picked mine back up today and started filming around. I've been watching "Unsolved Mysteries" and the imperfect look of that filming gives me a certain nostalgic feeling. This isn't an early 90s camera, but it still has that imperfect feel and it was all I could really afford for just something to get my hands on about 8 years ago when I bought it for like $80. I was sad I couldn't get something better then... but now I'm thankful I didn't have anything "better". Now I only try to shoot with older stuff, whether video or photos. I went searching to see if anyone else is still using it and found your videos! So thanks for posting! I loved these!

Thank you, Bob. The building is a museum of sorts. The sisters were given the land by their father who was very wealthy as he owned a big brass company in a near by town. The sisters had this built after having traveled to England and it was inspired by the Tudor homes they had seen on there. They left this land to the state when they passed and it is now a beautiful state park on 16 acres I believe. They give tours of the home which is just the way it was when they stayed in it. It was their summer home.

Hey question how do you get high quality video from the cam because i am struggling with it meaning whenever i view the test video from the cam on my computer it shows pixelated lower bit rate and quality so do you know how to fix that like yours?
Hello. Sorry I just got you comment today. TH-cam never sent me sent me a notice of your comment and some how I missed it. Anyway, I have my camera set up to take Xavc S Hd which is the highest quality, however the AVCHD file format should give good result to. I'm not sure what could be the problem. I would say try a different card just for the heck of it, It might be the card.

I had been using 30 but started trying out 60 fps recently so I can cut it to half speed for nice slow motion footage. I sometimes take the card out but you can also take the usb cord that is in the handle and connect it directly to the usb port on your computer then just open the camera screen and it will be readable on the computer and show up in your files. To put onto youtube you first have to edit or bring it into an editor and save the files as MOV .MPEG-1 .MPEG-2 .MPEG4 .MP4 .MPG .AVI .WMV .MPEGPS .FLV 3GPP WebM DNxHR ProRes CineForm HEVC (h265)as they are the file type youtube accepts. You can't upload Xvachs or AVachd. Hope that helps. @@wordsmit1954
For the card I have an ONN brand card from Walmart a 64GB Micro usb SDXC U3. They are inexpensive and work good for the HD footage.@@wordsmit1954
