What I am wondering, is what happened to Samantha and Carol after they left. And what revenge plans were they hatching. It probably never went anywhere because of the restraining order. But I suspect that they came a few weeks later back to the house ready for another confrontation. But by then, another family had moved into the house. I suspect that they caused a scene and got themselves arrested. I can assume when Samantha tried to call her son to bail her and his aunt out, he hung up on them.
