Fantastic women’s race!
when kelly Holmes won her 1500 meter gold medal in Sydney Seb Coe went down onto the track and took her trainers off for her
It must have been so unreal being there, i love how the crowd just keeps on cheering and cheering and then does a massive one as he crosses the line!
Thanks very much for uploading. Tiny glimpse of the Esso garage as it was then, which I've been looking for for ages, thanks.
Aku ikut terharu, salam dari kami Indonesia
people will talk about this for a long time. Absolutely magical
Sebastian Coe a legend himself.
Hii
Thats so cool. I couldn't imagine running infront of a crowd like that
Outstanding. Still so proud of him
Best Olympic atmosphere ever
Go on seb
How can the crowd even see or knows whose leading at this distance???? At home the announcers tell you whats happening
A Muslim refugee comes to our country and does that, Britain I am proud :)
Thanks for posting great memories.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏Your a legend.
Fantastic
Jerry, you're a fool
Christina 16 then?
That was amazing really
Same here, a pure gentleman
Great video, this captured how people felt exactly, shame we can't have that moment again!!
Proud to call John Downes a mate. Absolute legend
There will never ever be another Mo Farah! Well done Mo!
Maybe who knows
thanks Mo glad you never let down britain after all the effort to trained you and made you best athlete
I remember this so well, I will never forget the noise of the stadium. Wish I could relive it again.
Me too
1200 400 800 1600
title txt here
Oh my God what the hell was this like being there?? Total envy!
Great footage, excellent journalistic instinct - surprised i've not seen this picked up before !
for section X we do 800, 200, 400, 1600
Extra points to the big guy behind Seb Coe.
1200, 800, 400, 1600
Can we please do all that again?
This film really captures the atmosphere at the Olympics in London.
Because they are different distances each leg.
So good to watch, so boring to listen to...
thanks I wanted to see that race. I wish somone posted the boys 4x400 championship that was an amaxing race probably the best of the day
I went mental ! Haha - love the Olympics but I feel it's forgotten about too quickly. Having it in our home county was beautiful. I hope I live to it happen again
just wonderful!
Remember watching this on the sofa I nearly had a seizure from screaming lol
Coe WAS a legend, I remember watching him Ovett and Cram when I was a kid, they were amazing (as was Daley). Now Coe is a dumbass politician, hero to zero....
We can agree on the "epic night". As I said originally, it should be Sir Mo. As well as a top athlete he comes across as one of the nicest blokes you could wish to meet.
I think you are reading too much into it. I think he's just holding his arms out as if to say, "Isn't this unbelievable?". It was a pretty epic night. Some people just seem determined to find fault.
All the "caring" is unquestionably proven between 1:22 & 1:30. My problem is with that which is from 1:32 until he vanishes from the screen (possibly up his own arse as well as off camera).
I think he's spent too long in politics to still be 100% human!
Or, maybe he realised that people were filming him (he looks directly at the camera at one point and realises). Maybe he thought, "If I do nothing, I'll get criticised for not caring or appearing emotionless". The man can't win - rock and a hard place!
I agree - I have full respect for Coe's athletic career - but that does not alter the fact he is a pompous twit. He forgot his roots - he came from quite a modest background. I hated his closing speech as it lacked any sincerity or true emotion.
It should now be Sir Mo. As for that pompous Tory git, why is he acting like he won it himself? The initial reaction seemed genuine but it quickly descended into "look at me, I'm what it's all about".
It is now
@@benthewheel30 Yes, indeed YES! So he should be, but over a decade later, upon seeing my comment again, I apologise to Sir John Major. Not that I reckon he'll be seeing this but, though I - leftie that I am - disagree with his political stance, compared with today's lot (who disgustingly go down the Trump conspiracy road far too often) was at least a genuine gent of undoubted integrity.
1:33 Do I know how to throw a party or what?
Super saturday was my daughter's first birthday and i will never forget that night. 3 gold medals on track and field amazing!
