$2 Movie by Andrew Savage live from the Living Room
Thanks For listening! This is an original song by myself, Andrew Savage. Jack Meidel is on the bass and Joe Hilling, AKA Hillcat, is on the Drums
this is a song about my hometown and a bar a used to work at that was right next to the movie theater. On Tuesdays I used to finish my shift and head over to the Theater and see whatever looked good that was playing for a discount price. it was always empty and super affordable. I think the song kinda touches on the lonely feeling of taking yourself out for a movie and the chaos that can be working in the service industry. it's a fun one!
all the love!!

Nice dan electro
Thank you, it's a fun guitar! It's an early 2000's reissue that I found at a pawn shop for $125 in 2016. Total steal
@@AndrewSavage_Music dam I thought I got a good deal on mine I bought off market place I’m down town Fort Worth for $350 it’s in a rare finish only seen 2 on reverb plus I’m a lefty hard to find used gear
@@tyedyesunshine that's a good price man, you got a solid deal for sure. I feel like they are getting harder to find and they were already pretty niche you did good! I feel like ones I was looking at were in the $500/$600 range last time i checked
Nobody Cares
It's true
Beautiful
Thank you!
You are original, you are clear, and I'm pretty sure I just fell in love with you! Absolutely beautiful, you took this song and made it your own!
@stacyjaye6350 thank you so much! I've always loved this song and It is so much fun to sing on the piano, I'm working into my live set
Dude, I'm sitting here thinking the stars for dropping you in my feed. You're an old soul, in a young man's body. I can't say enough good things about you. I'm sharing you with absolutely everyone I know. Yep, both of them! 😂
Yes please share!! This comment just made my day : ) I've got a link in my Bio that will take you to my streaming music
Get on with your bad self, young man. Plenty of amazing singer-songwriters with not great voices lol. Neil Young and Bob Dylan come to mind. You have a distinct, beautiful sound. You hang in there, you hear me? Don't you dare quit or ever give up. 💖
Never quitting! Just recorded 4 songs in the studio with my band and going back for round two in November
I love to listen when someone is putting their heart and soul in the song! From a boomer, I am praying for your success and happiness. Just remember, those two things don't go hand in hand necessarily. I'm sending you strength, courage, and big hugs, from Tulsa! 💪⚔️🫂
Thank you so much! this really made my day. Sending the love back to you from Austin!
Good song and effort! You will go far.
Thank you so much!
It’s so awesome to see you playing on so many stages! Great stuff 👀 ❤
Thanks so much!
Your voice is so gooood ❤🎉
Thanks so much! I'm often self conscious about my voice and try to sing too high. The register I'm singing this song in is my most comfortable register
oh!
Oh indeed! 😃
It's very hard not to play that G progression to the C to the D.. sounds good smooth transition for note to note good walk down
Thank you!
i could listen to this song for 5 hours straight
I wish I made the loop a little more continuous! I'll see about making a longer version 😃
@@AndrewSavage_Music alr thx cuz ill definitely be sleeping to it every night
What is Robert Downey junior doing
You are the 2nd person to make that comparison haha. I'll take it
👋👁️💋👁️
Thank you!
Yes!! This is great, thanks
Thank you!! 😊
Amazing that you can play both at the same time. 😊
Thank you! It's so much fun, and a little easier than it looks 😃
Long haired Robert Downey Jr?😮
First time I've heard that one!! I'll take it 😃
Love so much of your music, you've been a huge inspiration for me to finally learn guitar. Hope to see more ❤
I'm so happy to hear that my music has helped you finally start playing the guitar! That is so good to hear. I've got new music coming soon, I've been in the studio with my band and we are really excited about unleashing new music to the world
Just don't quit your day job
No guarantee 😉
I like this. I need to listen to more
Thank you James! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. This one is called You Got Light and there is an acoustic version of it on the streaming services under Andrew Savage, there is a link in my bio
Love your music
Thank you so much!
very nice❤
Thank you! It's a fun song to play on guitar
One of my fondest memories of my dad was him playing and singing this song while tapping his foot on our living room floor… For him it was the bottle not the needle. He died alone a few years ago on Veterans Day. Unfortunately we hadn’t spoken in years. Thx for sharing the song and happy memories.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss but also happy that this song brings back positive memories with your dad. Neil's songs have always had a way of helping me feel a little less alone and a little more understood. Thank you so much for writing in ❤️
I sing this song because I loved a man. I know that some of you won’t understand.
Milk blood to keep from running out I’ve seen the needle and the damage done
I've seen The needle and the damage done, a little part of it in everyone ❤️
It’s yoko
Oh no 😂 Lizzie is a great vocalist and songwriter. Not knocking Yoko but some of the Yoko/Lennon era songs are tough to listen to live. Were All Water from Sometime in New York City is pretty much gold
@@AndrewSavage_Music Is she ur singer? Or where can I find her other music/videos?
@nicolesymonds2349 thanks! Yeah I play bass in her band. You can find her music if you search Lizzie Budin on all the places you find music. or @lizziebudin. you can find my personal project under Andrew Savage on all the streaming places as well!
That’s from playing with a pick near the bridge. ❤
Yes true! And from rust on the strings by the saddles due to how much I sweat on stage. I'm wiping down my strings after ever live set now
guitar player playing bass ✅
Caught red handed
Pretty voice
Agreed!
Serves him right for strumming a bass.
Karma came to me for sure
Tat toos ruined my looks...
Yoo i have the same bass
Gotta love the buttercream PBass!!
Strumming a bass isn't the issue, you can get really interesting sounds with strumming, it's strumming it like a guitar that is the problem
That’s really nice tile work, is that your patio?
I'm a renter not a buyer but I have admired it myself
It was BEANS!!!!!!!…just BEANS!!!!!
Beans are natures musical fruit
Okay im listening once again, that’s crazy GOOD!
@guestroomparty welcome back! feel free to listen as many times as you'd like
That’s really good
Thank you 🎉
Thank you 🎉

You are helping to make the dream come true and I will cut you in on my earnings when I make it big
Why is this not famous 😂
I probably should have added more cats 😄
@@AndrewSavage_Music I love it bro🥰🌹
Mission accomplished 😄 ❤️
A masterpiece
I'm not sure I would go that far but thank you 😀
ITS GIVING BO BURNHAM
Bo Burnham is brilliant!! Thanks for the comparison
Why do bassists use a pick? You're not Lemmy, playing chords, so why not use your fingers?
I can only speak for myself but as a lifelong guitar player and a very new bass player I have much more control with a pick. I'm learning how to use my fingers but they tend to fumble around haha for now my go-to is the trusty pick
@@AndrewSavage_Music It's easy to finger pick. When you play guitar with a pick you learn how to produce all those different sounds by learning to control the way you use the pick. Those skills are easily transferable to finger picking.
@@jono1457-qd9ftpicks are cool man makes an interesting sound on the bass
@@jono1457-qd9ft working on it brother! Still love the sound of a pick as well
@elizabethbudin5917 Picks can make a cool sound on the bass, particularly when Palm muting as well : )
Tomorrow
Yes! One of my favorites. I feel like it's a bit of a deep cut as well
Tomorrow
One of my favorite Ozzy bass lines
