Thanks Brian. We had really good weather all week, we couldn't believe our luck. We've got the cruise bug now...lol Back on Sky next may... Oslo and Copenhagen, can't wait.

A lot of the time you wouldn't know you were moving. At the back of the ship in the vista lounge, a very slight vibration through the seats sometimes... hardly noticeable. On the sea day back to Southampton, it did get a little bit Wavey, but certainly not enough to cause any ill feeling...

They definitely do something for kids, but if I'm being honest, I wouldn't book this hotel if keeping the kids entertained is your priority. When we were there in November, it felt very much like an adults only hotel, even with a few kids around.

The Airport was very safe, I've never had so many passport/baggage checks and it all moved very quickly. In reality, the hotel is only 15 minutes max from the airport but the coach too about 45 minutes...last off, when we return in September we will use private transfers as they are relatively cheap and only take 10/15 minutes.

To be honest, I thought the food was very good and certainly better than I thought it was going to be.

On this holiday we used Gopro Hero 11 , Google Pixel 7 Pro and Osmo Pocket 3. The Pocket 3 will never fully replace my Gopro, but it's probably the best thing I've bought this year.

It's an all inclusive resort...

You should be able to book them on the app about 10 days before you get there. Sometimes, not all the restaurants will show up, but keep checking and they will eventually. Tip when you think it's deserved and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Have a great time and thanks for checking out my video.

angel herrera It's not a town, its actually a new theme park called Xenses. Amazing place to visit, I couldn't begin to describe it to you. Look it up and you will understand what I'm on about. www.xensespark.com

CarPassionGermany . You will get lots of people hastleling you on the way into the beach trying to sell you tours to see the turtles, politely decline and keep walking. If you watch the video, at 1.50 you will see a building called Akumal dive centre. Hire a life vest from there, I think it was less than £5 for most of the day then head further up the beach, about 100 metres and walk out into the water. I'm over 6 foot and usually start seeing the turtles once my feet can't touch the floor, so the life vest is essential. Have fun

It was lovely to meet you to, I think we are giving Mexico a break next year in favour of a big family holiday to portugal but will probably be there same time in 2019. Looking forward to any videos you may do, it will be a while before i put any video up as i have to wait for my son to send all his footage to me.

I used powerdirector to edit video. Not my drone footage , all though I do have the same drone , not something I'd want to cart all the way to Mexico though.

check my earlier comments , you might get some rain , but mostly short heavy bursts and then fine again. can't have been that bad , were going back the same time this year.

+jamie davies It can be glorious sunshine one moment then black as the ace of spades the next , usually with a heavy downpour and then glorious again half an hour later. More often than not there are clouds about , but the humidity makes a 32°C day feel like 40°C + My main advice on the weather would be to apply plenty of sun lotion and hopefully unlike me you wont get burnt to a cinder , you could have cooked an egg on my back after a day at akumal beach snorkelling with the turtles , lol. Have a great time , looks like we'll be there the same time.

+felician80 Gatwick 9:55 , we will be in premium right hand side, front seats , feel free to say hello. my first tip , if you haven't already done so is , book a private transfer , well worth the £53 first choice are charging and we got to the hotel and hour and 45mins before the coach arrived. Tip 2. If you want decent Internet all over the resort including the beach, don't pay for the hotel's, look up something called boingo , the unlimited plan. Have a really good holiday.

For the internet i'll be getting the unlimited plan from boingo, hopefully to have decent connection.
