To be honest, I could already feel my pulse rising when you were showing the footage from being stuck amongst the crowd by the river. Flashbacks to New Years Eve 2009/10 by the riverbank in Shanghai: We were pressed shoulder-to-shoulder in a huge crowd of thousands of people watching the fireworks, slowly and anxiously realizing that, wow, if a panic breaks out here right now, we are freaking dead. Terrifying.
