Snorkeling with whale sharks in the Philippines
28 June 2024 at the south end of the island of Cebu, Stella and I enjoyed a close encounter with a shiver of whale sharks . Despite their large size and shark-shape, whale sharks aren't dangerous. They are filter feeders. They have no teeth. They eat phytoplankton, macro algae, krill and sometimes small crustaceans such as crabs and squid. In the village of Oslob, the local tourist bureau runs a daily program where folks can spend 40 minutes snorkeling with these *gentle giants*.

Thanks for enjoying our wedding video!
Fantastic. You are so inspiring
Thank you so much!
Congratulations to the bride and yourself Nick!
Thanks, Tim!
Awww, CONGRATULATIONS🎉.
Kulo malulap!
Congratulations! Wow! No wonder you liked Kosrae so much! We’re so happy for you.
Great to hear from y'all. There've been several life-changing events in the past few years. One was getting stuck in Kosrae during Covid. Another was almost dying in April. Crewing on the Huron Jewel was an important experience, too. FYI, Stella is from Uganda. I brought her to Kosrae so that we could live together and see where our relationship might go.
Wow! And you did not invite me to the wedding xD Congratulations! BDW, and all of that thanks to COVID, "every cloud has a silver lining".
Thanks! Where were you on April 8?
Congratulations on your marriage!
Thank you so much 😀
11s total… were you in the Center? Amazing Video!
We were in the center of the umbra. I think we had 14 seconds of totality. Although it was a very narrow eclipse path, it was dramatic to view it from small fishing boats out on the ocean.
Greetings Prof Liza, I wish to express my profound gratitude to you for leaving your comfort zone in DC, to impact greatly into that community. I hope this gets to u, I wil bel coming into Micronesia around October, I pray to see you there, to also learn a thing or two from you.
That's awesome, you doing a great job💯. I will be coming to Micronesia around October. I will like to under-study you, it's takes alot of sacrifice from you to stay back there leaving your comfort zone with a hope to leave a legacy behind when your time on earth is over.
The one gorilla looked like a mountain gorilla. I love how they’re so chilled out and quietly going about their business. They’re amazing animals.

You're very welcome. If you wish to see gorillas in the wild, the Kahuzi-Biega National Park, Congo is one of the best (and least expensive) places to see them.

What russian accent!😂
Ha ha!
me es impresionante escuchar hispanos (posiblemente de cuba por el acento) en Pyongyang
Puedes escuchar todos los idiomas en la RPDC.
Very interesting video ! Nick is a very nice person and very good informed about many Romanian stuff !
Thanks! 😃
Thx mister for this documentary and for nice promotion about my country Romania
Thank you! Mulțumesc!
It would been a lot better some romanian music in the Babele scene, given that this is a documentary about Romania.
Thanks for your suggestion. I'll forward it to my videographer.
Go Nick!!
Thanks for subscribing -- same to you! (I'm now in Istanbul.)
That was great. I need to get there someday
Kosrae is such a wonderful place. I'll be back there in December.
Love these guys ❤
Thanks for watching the video!
Thanks for watching! It was a rather entertaining adventure through Transylvania.
Ahhahaha “you bring the money and we’re all set yeah ? :))” Nick is just perfect to be a TH-camr & a star
A good star needs a good videographer.
I need to know where this place is
Romania is easy to find. It's not hard to get there, either.
I love this video and Nick is very nice & funny I feel there’s more detail detailed in your videos than other videos of travelers 👌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it! Our pleasure!

You two should be on tv in every country to educate people how to travel. It's amaizing how the univers put you together in a bus next to eachother. Im happy that Natalia goes with you in Siria,as your experience will keep her safer. Happy travels
Thanks for the kind words. Travel is the best teacher as well as one of the paths to World Peace. I hope more people will travel and make friends all over the world. I'm not sure that I'll see Natalia in Syria because our itineraries don't quite overlap. We'll see.
The invitation to the TV was well deserved, you are a true travel ambassador for the countries you visit and I am thankful for that, as well as the words of wisdom regarding traveling and peace. Noroc from Romania!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I loved my adventures in Romania and Moldova.
Noroc, noroc and multumesc!

Welcome Master. Shall I bring a couple of vestal virgins?

Yes, war is a terrible thing -- especially when its motives are as dubious as this one.
So many lives, destroyed, women, children left behind, it's unreal that war cannot be stopped by any other country, that some crazy man can do this and the world is watching 😢
Nice to see that some sites are not affected by war.
Yes, I was surprised and pleased to see that life in western Ukraine is almost normal -- except for all the men who aren't present.
Great series, loved it! You are always welcomed back, you haven't even scratched the surface! Noroc!
More to come!
@@nickzoa7685Hell yeah!
You're going to do East Europe by the look of it😊
For now, my tour will be Romania, Ukraine, Moldova, Transnistria and Gagauzia. That'll keep me busy for a few weeks. :-)
Hi, are you planning to travel in to Poland?
I will be in Poland sometime around October 12-14. Will you be there then?
@@nickzoa7685 yes, like last 40 years 😆
There's a chance that I will be in USA for the annular solar eclipse.
Thank you for visiting Romania. 😊
Thank you too!
I guess next country is Republic of Moldova😊😊
I'm in Moldova now. To get here, I went through a small part of Ukraine, which has whetted my appetite to see more of that country.
