TTO got their event crashed, they planned on a 100 person event, 70 were able to attend. Griefernet showed up with 20 pipe hitters and a death wish, the outcome is hardly surprising when bobs are involved. =)

I used my new found love for the JF-17 to test my new hardware recording DCS, which is why its all sorts of audio's, frame rates, and resolutions. Never played on Growling (or done PvP in general) before, ended up coming out with a K/D of 1.9 (23/12) just with the JF-17.

This is a great overview. I am considering doing GCI, as I really am not very good with the actual combat side of things and GCI is very similar to what I did in my previous career. Thank you for making the point about AT and FOR. As a retired OPS TECH Warrant Officer (USN), I cringe every time I hear them in game. Maybe I am just an old curmudgeon, lol.

If you are running AMD and have a 6000 or 7000 series card, download their FMF preview drivers for AI frame gen. If you don't have any of that put the game on an SSD first and look at either getting faster RAM or overclocking it.
@@BuggsWorth Got 32gb of RAM and a 3050. So gg for me I guess. Though I need to upgrade my CPU
@@wolfmirebacta8710 If you can't auto-OC/overclock your CPU id suggest making a pagefile to act as extra RAM, the game loves RAM.

We caught all of you at Brio's but the server stalled/30k'd and never crashed for god knows how long, we were there but the game died.

As we used to say back in the day. Be a reason for a game devs meeting or patch as they curse your name, and you will never regret a day of playing.
Honestly i doubt devs care at all, they dont even care for cheating, (not just CIG but devs in general), most likely its just a political favor to gain sympathy by pretending to do something

well look at this from the other perspective: griefing is affecting other player that don't have any pvp interest, if one gets destroyed for no reason several times they might be like 'f this game' and stop playing = stop buying new ships etc, the more ppl get put off the game the more money cig is loosing, so they just ban it :) and tbh destroying others game for no real reason is pretty shit imho, if u like pvp go to arena commander, you'll have way more fun fighting against someone who can actually fire back than just annihilate another solo reclaimer :)

honest opinion as one of the security personell: It was hella fun fighting. I dont think our org was big enough to defend such an attack as we were like 10 members where 4 of them were included in the event as "npcs/bosses" who dont even got to protect against possible griefers. it was an experience and obviously there is no way of coordinating 70 players who might have nerver even fought in sc.
It was fun fight for sure, wouldn't have been nearly as big of a deal if it wasn't for the dudes on your side talking non stop smack and being overall delusional. Cheers for rolling with the "dynamic change in gameplay".

UHF and VHF guard frequencies must be monitored at all times. And it is good to have them since radios on fighters can also be turned on to listen those frequencies
