I love my V10 excursion😊 1999 date but technically a 2000. Almost 4 years of paying gas but insane reliability, that truck starts every time the key is turned.
There are so many well-known V10 super cars, yet the good old 6.8 Ford V10 kills them in sound. I still don't know how and why this Ford 6.8 engine sounds so good.

Its all in the gear Mines in the mid 6s low 7s for a 10000 pound vehicle that seats seats 8 i got no complaints

I have a V10 with Gibson headers and exhaust and sounds like a Lamborghini Faulk all this delete stuff. Doesn’t sound good at all.

Same man. I really just want to start modding mines. Mines also a 01 v10 with 144,000 miles.
Pros: more power and fuel efficiency Cons: less fuel efficiency because you’ll want to keep your foot in it to hear that bald eagle maker
What about o2 sensors , and or " check engine" light ???
There is not a after cat O2 on the excursion. So no CEL will show. Doing the y pipe conversion will free up even more flow and sound.

I’d you can’t find that information for yourself than your project is hopeless
Ill give it to you. 362 hp at 4,700 rpm. 460lbt at 3,000rpm. It weights 500-700lbs (approx.) If you doing an engine swap then no, this is a terrible engine because its huge. If you making your own kit car then this is a decent engine. Its a v10 and its powerful but big.
By the way thats the dry weight.

The 00-05 V10s are 2 valve and only make 310hp and 425 ft/lb of torque. The 3v V10 makes 362hp. Engine weight is 700lbs.

So where did you get the aftermarket front headlights and tail lights from?
Amazon.. they both are the euro style. Front headlights will require shaving down some of the plastic to fit because they are not the same fit or style as the stock ones.

I got these same headlights and my fog light stays on when runninf but my other one doesn't. They wired the same u know anything about this?
At the start of the acceleration it sounds like a diesel then when it passes by it sounds like a viper 😳

It does sound pretty good. I have a 6.8 with 14 inches left on 42s. Remanufactured engine, headers, duel 2 chamber Flowmaster
Hopefully gas will not be an issue in the near future.

Milage isn't that bad we have an 04 f250 super duty with a v10 the truck loaded with our generator and all of our gear is a hair over 8000lbs and it has no problem getting 16-17 if you keep your foot out of it
