Damn. Wish Dakota could’ve been the man coming into this game.
12:21 I don’t think anyone could’ve said it better about modern Bozeman. Thank you Kris!
Oregon proved how much better the west sucks!! Born an raised on 11th in Bozeman lets go cats!!!
Very good content. I always enjoy listening to Brooks because he actually knows football and doesn't give long winded answers like Totell. While I agree that the Bobcats are a good team, I don't think they are better than NDSU and they won't win the NC. In recent history, Montana St. hasn't beaten the Bison ever. And in sports we know that some teams just have the number of the other team. But it's more than that. The reason why NDSU has dominated the FCS winning was it 9 NC except for the last 2 years which was won by their rival SDSU. NDSU plays in a tougher conference and are battle tested almost every week even by the decent teams in their conference. The reason why the no team in the Big Sky has won the NC game in so long is because the best teams maybe have 1 or 2 hard games and the rest is just easy. Montana St. while better than every team in the Big Sky this year really wasn't saying much because the whole Big Sky was horrible. The one team that gave the Bobcats a hard time was Davis which Davis almost came back towards the end. I guess what I'm saying is the Bobcats haven't had to endure any real adversity this year. Yes they are a good team but the teams they also played this year aren't that good to begin with which gives you a false sense of greatness in their undefeated season. NDSU just dominated the 2 time NC SDSU team to advance to the NC. Overcoming adversity and playing rough games week in and week out definitely build a tougher team. Montana St. who hasn't faced any real adversity this year will face it in the NC game and will they be able to handle it. Will they be able to handle being behind on the scoreboard. I think NDSU will win the NC game and it's because they are a better team then the Bobcats.
As @rafterdude99 writes, MIKE KRAMER turned the tide. He changed the attitude- The Griz were no longer invincible.
Dont matter. NDSU finna clap dem cheeks monday
They are not over the top until they get the W on Monday
It is MSU game to lose, on that note MSU need to and will play hard, just like NDSU will be doing. Going to be an epic game. CATZ FCS CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!
He is so good at painting a picture with his words
Colter continues to put out "classy", interesting, entertaining, and professional interviews. The best in all sports! Montanans should appreciate what we we have while we have it.
This man grabbed the rudder of the ship and turned it 180 degrees to a winning program. I am grateful for his time at MSU!!
Was there in Missoula when we broke the streak. Game was amazing and the town was a ghost town that night. We beat the drink outta them that day.
I was there that day as well and remember it just how you stated it.
I remember Travis quarterbacking us to a win against NDSU on a fourth quarter drive.
The fact that he could punt the ball was epic. 😂 Lulay was one of the most entertaining players to watch.
His roll out rugby punt was a different type of dual threat but wildly effective.
I was also at all of those same games in Fargo and Brookings. Miserable. Heading down to Frisco this year hoping for a way better result. GO CATS!
Love watching all the former Bobcats! Great job Kris!
Alpine Touch contains monosodium glutamate which is an excitotoxin, so you're poisoning your brain while supporting a small business
GO CATS GO!!!!
Go BISON 🦬 💪
Go Griz, but I like this years Cats chances…The TommyCats are a rare generational talent…arguably one of the better groups of Montana kids on the field, if not the best (just to piggyback on what Kramer had to say…) Go Cats bring one back to Montana by way of MSU!
You're the one who published that anonymous coach article. That was a great article!! Well done!!
Too bad the refs let the Bobcats steal that 2014 game away from ISU and The Big Human on the last play of the game in Bozeman. Nonetheless, I still don't think Kramer was given the proper respect from Pocatello when he "retired" from there. Good to see he's welcomed again in Bozeman.
Hate and love this guy. Could of had something special in Bozeman his senior year. Bet on himself and failed. Had a lot of respect for the way he played but lost it when he left. It was a bad day to be a bobcat.
I couldn't agree more. I hated that day.
Oregon Coaches failed him. And he had a good CFL career. He met his wife at Oregon. Stop hating, let it go.
I disagree.
@@davidmilak7164 At least he got a wife out of it. We got Chris Murray, another big qb letdown. Thankful for tommy, and commits that build a programs culture and stick with it. He could have made the jump and is a true team player. No excuse to quit on your team. FCS football can put out pro caliber players to the nfl. If he was good enough he could have made it out of Montana state. It was selfishness at its finest.
Still crying about that, move on
Move up and have as much as fun as Idaho did for some 20 years. Multiple different conferences, new coach every 3 years, fans stop coming as no interest in a team full out of state hired hands with no loyalty to the tradition, all done so the coach and AD can make more money. Stupid F’n idea.
They're not thinking it through. I agree...stupid F'n idea.
Thank you for interviewing Coach Ash. Before Ash we just wanted to win and didn’t care how. Lesson learned and with Ash we wanted to win the right way. Then it became winning with fire, enthusiasm, and passion for the game. Vigen is putting it all together.
How did they get to this sustainability? They hired former NDSU coaches.😂😂😂😂
So you'll be fine taking the L...
Still one of my favorite former MSU coaches. Like him or hate him, he started the transition. I remembered getting mocked for cheering on my Cats his first year, and his starting of the end of gwiz dominance.
Kramer recruited a bunch of mediocre thugs... In 2006 one freshman thug was involved in killing another thug and disposing of the body on the MSU post farm....
🦾🦿 Show Them What "Butte Tough" Means "Touchdown Tommy"! 😺
😂 1st Their Was "Touchdown Jesus"... But, Now We Have "Touchdown Tommy"! 🥳
With WSU cutting spending in the athletic programs. I think it helped him to have no interest.
NDSU dove deep into recruiting kids from Minnesota, especially the Minneapolis area. Once they started winning, the recruiting got easier. They were able to bring in some great athletes and in the process, they had a dynasty! The answer for the Bobcats was to hire Coach Vigen, who not only coached there, but was also a player.
Go cats Go!
Coach Ash , you did start the momentum that is now the Bobcats steamroller!! Thank you sir for all your work at MSU.
I love coach Rob Ash,he took care of me and my family at home games
What an amazing coach. We are so lucky to have him!! GO BOBCATS!!
That was really neat to hear from coach Ash. Glad to hear he's doing so well. He almost completely eliminated the concept of a losing season for Montana State football. He definitely helped pave the way to what it has become.
Peter fields was a 🤡. Ash had a lot of cleanup, the level of the academics of student athletes has improved 10 fold. A lot of athletes he should have cut bait on including his son. The analytics won a lot of games, but lost the important ones. Choate and vigen knew how to separate the wheat from the chaff. Something rob ash struggled with.
Peter Fields was turning all of MSU's athletics upside down. Every department was losing ground, especially the football team, before Rob Ash was fired. My issue with Coach Ash, is he seemed to have no fire. He is probably great at his current job, but a lot of his early success was from Kramer's recruits. I am glad Rob Ash is doing great, and I do appreciate his hard work.
He was a good guy, but you are correct. He had 0 fire.. I played for Ash 10-13
In the 2021 and 2023 MSU v NDSU losses, Tommy got injured. If he stays healthy, that may be the difference in Frisco, IMHO.
LOL!!! Peja Stojakovic
See you in Frisco... go Cats!
Kitties gonna choke - always do....
Clown!
GO CATS!!!
You guys have an incredible team!! Good luck in Frisco, you have plenty of confidence to build on, no doubt.
Excited about this, seems like a winner
Audio is terrible!!
Where is Vigen headed? How much will it take to hire him away from MSU?
Goog Luck. Classy, enthusiastic, and well-spoken coach.
We will see if the rumors of Vigen being top candidate for the Washington State head coach job are true or not. There is no loyalty in the FCS regardless what you want to think. A $400 to $600k salary in the FCS is chump change to the FBS. Even a school like WSU was paying Dickert over $2M. You’d be an idiot to not take that raise…similar to Eck and Matt Entz. FCS might as well be the d-league for FBS.
