One advice, be gentle and patient, and talk to the cat. Trust me. They sense a bit what you feel, but they totally identify your mood by your tone and your body language. Dont pet the cat as if you were to grab it or hold it rather than try to mimmic what other cats do. And remember cat societies are very very rude and violent when it gets up for it, thats why you see that many strays and ferals without eyes or full of scars Oh and keep playing with it, because even if you are a bit rough to him these animals need the stimulation. Try find some thick glove cos it's gonna bite and scratch a lot😂😂😂 Also don't believe that myth about cats being too independent, show him who is boss. Those snowflakes have cats and feels like the owner is the cat and not the human😂
