I tried my moto2 for the first time this weekend. 700km trip through Belgium, France, Luxemburg and a little Germany. Tried the planned route and gpx track options. Positives: - this is what I was looking for. Minimalistic but still showing what I need. Turn direction, distance to turn, visual representation of road ahead. - battery life. Running for about 7h on day 1 it had dropped from 65 to 18%. Running it for 8 hours on day 2 it went from 90 to 35%. - alternative views are nice additional info. Operating the different screens is very doable with gloves while riding. - paid subscription can be cancelled and restarted on a monthly bases. Negatives: - fun routes vs fastest routes aren't that different. On each plotted route of around 100 to 150km the difference was less then 5km and 15min. About 95% of the roads were the same. Useless option in its current state. I know for certain the Ardennes and Luxemburg have a lot more fun routes then the app proposed each time. - voice directions is a paid service, even totally free apps like Osmand offer this for free. A simple text to speech library should be possible in the software without having to pay monthly. - voice directions only available in English. Again, any T2S engine should be able to cover this by now. - voice directions omit the decimal in announcing the distance to next direction. Example "1,2km" is mentioned as "one two kilometers". Confusing at times, thinking I was suppose to wait 12kms. - max speed information was wrong a lot of the time. I turned the option of again because it was wrong more often then it was right when riding through the Ardennes. - roundabout exit information was wrong about half of the time. A lot of times it said to take the first exit where it was actually the 2nd. Dealbreaker: A lot of the times (I stopped counting them after the 20th occurrence!) the visual representation of the road disappears. It still shows the distance to next turn and the direction, but still... It takes between 10 seconds to over a minute to reappear. This was thé function I bought this for. Combine this issues with the wrong roundabout exit information when navigating through a dence city area, this was very frustrating...

I just got mine. The backrest is the only thing saving this seat for me. I hate the slope on the back of the drivers seat. Why is it there? Who is that for? It should be much steeper. I need to fit my butt in that spot, and they put that stupid slope there...wtf? The backrest is amazing though. Even though I spent $700 on a custom seat, I still have to use my Airhawk pad to be able to sit comfortably on my Saddlemen Explorer seat. I'm pretty frustrated about it.

Put more music over the riding parts next time. No one wants to hear the bike. Thanks

I have the Nokia 8010. Updated to the latest firmware v12.8.3638 Android 12. The Nokia 8010, now supports native Auto frame rate switching with Netflix, BBC iPlayer. I also have the Nvidia Shield TV. I can honestly say the Nokia 8010 is a good alternative.

I only have 3 questions for the Moto 2, just waiting for a response now 1. Will the Moto 2 have voice to assist navigation so we don't have to look down every second to help avoid risks to motorcyclists on roundabouts? 2. Will the Moto 2 have export of GPS data to be used with cameras like GoPro, Insta360 etc? 3. Will the Moto 2 support offline re-routing like traditional GPS that you can buy at a similar or often lower price point, like the Garmin 55 etc?

It does look a lot better. I have the same motorcycle and still looking into which seat and backrest to buy. One thing on the motorcycle, it's not "1" "1" "4", it's "1" "14".

Last month I purchased a used 2023 Rebel 500 with 750 miles on the clock. I downsized to the Rebel from previously owning an SfV650 Gladius. I’m 76 now with arthritis in my feet causing big problems when tippy toeing a taller bike. Cruisers were never my first choice of bike, as I always preferred the sportier style of machine, but the Rebel 500 enables me to continue riding a motorcycle. The Rebel is powerful enough for me now but I did have to replace the stock seat with a more comfortable one. The Rebel 500 is a really nice little bike that has Honda reliability plus I am averaging 80mpg which is brilliant. I’m 5’6” when I breathe in and 5’ 5” when I breathe out and I weigh 177lbs.

That vivid black one is gorgeous!

I'm not sure about the experience level of anyone here, however i can attest to the fact that Honda Shadows are one of the best bikes ever built and they can Highway cross country like any other bike. Sure not as fast as most other bikes, but that's not why you buy a shadow. there are plenty of choices for speed bikes. The Shadow is a very good proven platform and they should never change it.

That white Road King is amazing looking. Im keeping my 2007 RK Custom... but that white and black combination is stunning.
